It is a small hotel in Leipzig. Some renovations and updates are uregently necessary. However, the breakfast was very nice, the staff is helpful and friendly.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with providing advice about Leipzing to non German speaking visitors. The hotel was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Overall we had a great few days at the hotel and we'd recommend using it.

The walls were so thin you can hear conversations, TV’s and people snoring from other rooms. Empty bottle of wine and dead wasps were left on the floor in the room. Tired decor needs updating.

A friendly place to stay in Leipzig
The hotel is easily reached by streetcar and a short 5-minute walk from the main railway station The lobby functions as a pub where many of the residents assemble. My room was clean and quiet. Their buffet breakfast is excellent.

Tiny - clean - non-functioning WiFi
I recently stayed at the Leipzig Coty Inn Hotel with my 2 year old. The hotel is in a residential area. Public transportation is within about 5-10 min walking distance. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are tiny. You can tell that it is old and in need of repair here and there. None of that bothered me though considering the price. The staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating. The things that did bother me though were that I could not connect to the WiFi as their network is unsecured and my phone would not accept any potential threats. Neither was there a phone. Thus my stay ended up costing me twice as much as I needed to do some online work and have a number of phone calls on Data roaming. I have not stayed in a hotel that didn't have a water boiler in a long time, so I missed that too. Overall, the stay was ok. The non-functioning WiFi is a deal breaker for me to consider staying there again.

Pleasant hotel in Leipzeg
Basic clean and tidy hotel. Staff very friendly. Spoke English. Hotel 4km north of city centre. Hotel on tram line from central station. 10 minute journey from town. Trams modern and frequent. Hotel fine for short stay if you do not mind tram journey

Very good 'business' style hotel.
The hotel was excellent. The only tiny gripe was that the room size was a bit small but OK for business or overnight stays. Breakfast was excellent and the staff helpful. Parking was available for our bikes in the garage which was locked at night.

hotel in quiet residential area located near nice park for walking and running. The rooms are clean, and tidy although in need of new decor and better updated electrical sockets and possible wiring? Located exidistant to conference centre(10mins) or Leipzig city centre(10-15mins) by taxi

Good stay
Quiet area with very helpful and obliging staff. Easy one minute (or less) stroll to the street car (aka tram). Room was warm and clean. Wifi worked brilliantly. Next door neighbour was a little loud late at night but a friendly word sorted that out. Good value.

First Impressions aren't always the best
Initial reaction to hotel, I can't stay here it's a dump, reception was basic , corridor to room scruffy, however room proved to be spotless, bed very comfortable, linen whiter than white, bathroom dated but spotless, good TV. Breakfast enjoyable, fresh, plentiful, staff customer service both at breakfast and on reception desk excellent far better than we had experienced in other superior Hotels we stayed in this trip. Good parking on site for those driving and easy access into city via tram, approx 7mins.I would recommend this hotel however after pointing out the negatives.It's surburban , little to offer in area One Restaurant, no shps, no obvious park nearby, nowhere to take a stroll.Ok for overnight stay any longer prepare to travel.

Old and sub standard hotel at a location far from where you want to be in the city - safe but not desirable. Overall not up to the standards - good on a shoe-string budget - for young people looking for a safe place cheap.

The staff are very helpful and friendly and speak English pretty well. The hotel certainly seems out of place in the area. Hidden behind an unused car dealership (VW who have moved to a nicer spot in town) The rooms were clean, tidy and comfy although sparse. No Free internet, cramped bathroom, old TV held on a wall bracket with a strap and no remote or satellite (no english channels) The area is VERY run down with grafitti everywhere and I would NOT trust parking if I owned a new or expensive car! The area is VERY run down and what you would typically expect from an eastern european city in Ukraine rather than Germany. NO amenities or food available locally although breakfast can be purchased at hotel which is just as well. Tram stop is 100 yards from hotel but don't expect it to take you anywhere of interest, certainly not a restaurant or fast food takaway. Trams cost about 1.5 euros per 2 stops. Cheap and cheerful.

für kurze Tripp...es geht
die Wände im Zimmer sind sehr dünn , man kann alles von den Nachbar Gäste hören ist relativ störend !ansonst ist ok entspricht Preisleistung. die Verbindung zum Zentrum sehr gut .

Das Zimmer, in dem ich mit meiner Lebensgefaehrtin uebernachtet habe war nicht vollstaendig sauber. Es handelte sich um das Zimmer 412. Der Papierkorb war nicht gelehrt. Der Fussboden war nicht gesaugt. Spinnweben an der Decke. Toilettenpapier war am zweiten Tag leer und wurde nicht aufgefuellt. Das Leeren des Papierkorbs wurde von mir nach der ersten Nacht an der Rezeption angezeigt. Fehlanzeige. Der Papierkorb blieb voll, Keine Angst. Es ist noch Platz fuer die Nachfolger. Die Zimmer sind hellhoerig. Das Fruehstueck war ok. Super nur eine Kaffemaschine. Der Kaffee geschmacklich einfach nur schrecklich. Der Preis 285 Euro 36 Euro fuer das Fruehstueck. Luxuspreise fuer ein unterklassiges Hotel. Ich werde dieses Hotel nie mehr aufsuchen. Einfach furchtbar.

Wie waren nur eine Nacht dort, aber es hat uns gut gefallen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Es ist sauber aber leider schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Renovierung nötig? Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt. Gern wieder! Sind bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal in Leipzig gewesen.

Das City Inn Hotel ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und das ist auch zu sehen. Trotzdem würde ich mich wieder dort einmieten, weil die Qualität der Bett-Matratzen, die Sauberkeit, die Ansprache der Beschäftigten und das dazugebuchte Frühstück gestimmt haben.

Das Hotel liegt recht ruhig und dennoch in der Nähe einer Straßenbahnhaltestelle. Es ist ein älteres Haus, wo natürlich hier und da auch ein paar Schönheitsreparaturen erforderlich wären. Die Angestellten wissen, dass das Haus sehr hellhörig ist und bieten daher an der Rezeption kostenfreie Ohrstöpsel an. Wir hatten ein kleines Zimmer, aber für unsere Zwecke völlig ausreichend, Frühstücksbuffett wurde stets frisch aufgefüllt, an der Bar konnte auch in den frühen Morgenstunden noch etwas zu trinken bestellt werden. Super nettes Personal, die sich ganz viel Mühe mit den Gästen geben und eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre schaffen. Super lieb und herzlich.

Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Es ist dort gemütlich. Leider sind die sanitären Anlagen etwas veraltet. Und das Bad bei uns war sehr klein. Wenn man da nur übernachten will ist es gut. Wir kommen aber auf jedenfall wieder.

Leider entsprachen die Beschreibungen und Bilder in keinster Weise dem realen Zustand. Zimmer waren in schlechten Zustand, lose, blasenwerfende Tapeten im Zimmer und unsaubere, beschädigte Silikonfugen im Bad. Die Zimmerreinigung und das Bettenmachen wurde vergessen. Für ruhigen Schlaf wurden Gehörschutzstöpsel angeboten. Das Frühstück entsprach Preis/Leistung. Aufgrund der Vorkommnisse wurde der Aufenthalt vorzeitig beendet. Hätte auf diese Erfahrungen gerne verzichtet!!!

Ebenfalls haben wir reagiert und das komplette Housekeeping Team austauschen lassen. Leider sind die Fotos im Internet 5 Jahre alt und unser Hotel ist gut besucht. Daher leiden einige Zimmer darunter. Diese wollen wir 2019 nach und nach renovieren. Der Mangel der Hellhörigkeit ärgert uns auch sehr, aber es ist schwer etwas dagegen zu tun. Es hat in diesem äußerst hellhörigen Hotel sicher seinen Grund, dass man an der Rezeption kostenlos Ohrenstöpsel bekommen soll. Unsere Nachbarn kamen zum Glück immer spät, so dass wir sie nur 3-4 Stunden ‚ertragen‘ mussten. Nachts war dann Ruhe. Das Personal war kompetent und freundlich., die Rezeption wohl 24h besetzt.

Aufenthalt war gut, plus für Tiefgarage. Frühstück ansprechend. Mobiliar könnte mal erneuert werden.
