The deck and fire pit were great. We walked up the road for our hikes. It is secluded but a 30 minute drive to Asheville and to hiking/bent creek recreation area. Rubber/plastic mattress covers make sleeping uncomfortable, especially the master bedroom. Not something I would expect for a quality hotel or resort which is the price we paid for 3 days. I have stayed in several VRBO homes and never have mattress covers like these. Views were wonderful and the hot tub was a plus. Fire pit was completely over grown with brush and weeds. Looked like nobody had used it or maintained it for years. All in all I would recommend if ownership would address the exterior cleaning and mattress covers. ##### John A.
