"The sound was a very short walk from our rental. There wasn't a swimming beach on site which I knew already (there are pools on site which can be nice on rainy days). The sound was, however, very beautiful and teeming with wildlife. Every shell had a crab living in it. There were more gorgeous birds and fiddler crabs than I'd ever seen before. We spent the days at the public beaches (each were only about a 10 minute drive from the rental), then after showering and dinner, my kids loved walking the sound exploring as the sun set each evening. It was perfect for the four of us. "

"We had a lovely, relaxing stay at this beach condo. Spotless, everything we needed was there, nice quality linens, cute beach decor. It was a 5 minute walk to beach. Its a natural beach, crabs, bird's, fish, lovely and quiet. Definitely would book again."
"Fabulous location with stunning views from deck...enjoyed my coffee each morning watching the sunrise. Ample parking, excellent kitchen appliances (fell in love with the washer & dryer!), comfy beds, convenient outside bike storage for our rentals, easy access to property with no traffic issues, and beautifully maintained pools. Responsive owner who provided helpful instructions in advance - would highly recommend this rental with its secluded location on the sound!"

"I have never been to HHI before and was quite nervous. We had a fantastic stay! When i booked, I didnt realize that the sound wasn't a swimming beach, but thats on me. There are very nice beaches close by and so many things to do on the island! My communication with the property manager was prompt and always helpful! The unit was very nice, clean, and well accomodated."
"This was our first trip to the Island but it won’t be the last! The condo was very roomy and clean. My husband is a huge clean freak and he said “this is probably the cleanest place we’ve stayed”. The beds were extremely comfy too! The property was gorgeous and our boys loved just exploring. There are feral cats on the grounds, which we loved getting to “spot” and pet when we could. We were a little sad because the indoor pool was closed while we were there, but the outdoor pools were super nice and clean. Honestly an amazing trip and I can’t recommend this place enough. The check in and check out process was extremely easy and reasonable. "
