Loved the vibe of our non-luxury suite, walking out to our outdoor patio for coffee, relaxing on a bed by the pool, so many beautiful plants, birds, and a beautiful iguana “Iggy” who loved sunning himself in the afternoon! The restaurants, bars, beach area and the little shop by the beach area were great! But the best part of our entire stay was the staff! Everyone and I mean everyone was kind, welcoming, engaged in conversations and were always hoping we were enjoying our stay. The front desk staff were always helpful, especially Mayron who went above and beyond to get my husbands cell phone back to him after we realized when we were at the airport that it was left behind! And the maid that cleaned our room every day, she was always bright and cheery and always did an excellent job!! We have traveled a great deal. Many resorts aim to please and are polite. But we could definitely say the people at the Kontiki were authentic and genuinely kind!
