Mt Dora
The house is close to the city for dining and shopping. The house is also close to the lake and a nice trail for walking. The marina is near by in case you would like to rent a boat. The house was clean and the owners gave a great list of suggestions.

Fantastic location; great facilities
We had a really great stay in Mount Dora. The town itself has a good choice of restaurants and bars, plus we went at Christmas-time and managed to see the Highland Games and "Light up Mount Dora" Christmas lights. We recommend the Saturday night wine walk/tasting from Maggie's Attic - great fun. The accommodation is fantastically located just a block or two from downtown - two ample-sized bedrooms and nice lounge, plus separate kitchen. Plus a much-appreciated welcome gift from the owners, which we drank on the first evening !!! Wholeheartedly recommended.

Great Location
Another Mt Dora 1/2 Marathon completed! Staying with Peter & Lisa is the way to go. All 3 of their properties are only steps away from the Race Start/Finish; makes it easy for GrandMa to walk GrandDaughter over to cheer Dad as he completes another challenge. The properties are clean, well stocked & very welcoming. Of course the city of Mt Dora at Christmas is beyond beautifully decorated & the properties allow you to walk to everything. No need to get in your car once you are parked. Additionally the owners are ready to assist if you have any questions or needs during your stay. Go ahead & book one of their homes ~ you won't be sorry!

GREAT LOCATION!
I loved being able to stay in an "old" house (I say old solely due to it's age) but the house is super clean, nicely furnished, very well equipped, modernly decorated, and with comfortable beds. The most important part was the short walking distance to Donnelly Street in one direction and the lighthouse/marina in the other direction. We enjoyed walking through the town, visiting the shops, and having coffee at the french bakery. We were able to take some great photos of sunset at the lake and then walked across the street to Pisces Rising where we enjoyed the live music, drink and friendly atmosphere. Peter and Lisa were very accommodating and full of great information. Thanks for the wonderful stay!
