Stay only 30 miles from Foss Lake. Lake activities include boat, jet ski, paddle boat, kayaking rentals. Great fishing, horse riding trails lake has horse pens, hiking and swimming. On way to the lake stop in at the Lucky Star Casino located in Hammon has a bar and restaurant only 15 miles away. Cabin Located North of town 10 miles from the river. Great swimming area with sandy beach to hang out, great for the kids big or small. Cabin also has close by areas for deer hunting, quail, turkey, and wild hogs. Cabin is an open studio with a queen size bed in main area and has a separate loft area that contains 2 twin beds great for kids, there are also 2 cots that could be folded out. Main area and Loft contains a TV and DVD hang out spot for the kids. Wifi is provided in and around cabin. Full kitchen and bathroom with a porch that has a bench seat over looking a gold fish pond and great landscape views. Dishes, bedding, towels, and bathroom accessories. Porch has smoking area, no smoking inside, ashtrays provided on porch. Large front yard. Small dogs allowed inside if kenneled during night and during day when owner is not present, Extra $25 fee. Cabin is located in friendly country town with 2 restaurants, grocery store and 30 miles from larger town for shopping and antiquing. The cabin was clean and neat with a perfect rustic decor. The owner, Laura, was very nice and on top of everything. I felt very safe and secure in my comfortable bed. I had everything I needed. Main Street has some unique, cute little stores and the coffee house was straight out of a Hallmark move. Elk City is a very easy 25 minute drive away and I went into "town" a few times. Elk City has an awesome Route 66 Museum and a Sonic so - for me - say no more. I can't wait to go back. The property was clean and easily accessible, no issues. It would be nice to have a bigger TV and cable or satellite to pass the time while there but everything worked out. Upon arrival we had a note saying stove was out of order but they did provide a 2 burner countertop appliance. Then the internet was not working properly on a very small 19 inch TV . Our showers had to be quick because hot water was running out after about 7 min. The cabin was very cold upon arrival but we were informed by note to turn on space heaters to warm it up. This took forever and it never was comfy inside and 1 of the heaters stopped working on day 2\. For the price I guess we got out of it what we put in it, but in was an experience that we personally won’t revisit. ##### STACY T.
