Welcome to Gr8 Ski & Golf, our beautiful, unique, and peaceful haven in the Central Cascade Mountains near Lake Wenatchee, Stevens Pass and Leavenworth. No matter the season, there is no better place to gather with family and friends. This well appointed 3 bedroom townhouse is a perfect place to make those special memories. With 3 spacious bedrooms, two full baths and a 1/2 bath, there is plenty of room for everyone! Relax and rejuvenate after a day of hiking, cycling, kayaking, x-country skiing, or golfing in this year-round mecca for mountain adventures. Just a two hour drive from Seattle, this is the perfect location for an active vacation, or a tranquil retreat. Next to beautiful Lake Wenatchee State Park, you can easily kayak, paddle board, or swim in the summer. The townhouse looks out over the 18th Fairway of the Kahler Glen Golf & Ski Resort - which turns into groomed x-country ski trails in the winter. There is a sledding hill at Kahler Glen and one at the nearby Lake Wenatchee State Park. You will find plenty of sleds for your use at our rental. In the summer, rent golf gear at the resort's clubhouse, or in the winter rent x-country skis and snowshoes at the Plain Hardware store, just 4 miles away, or at the resort clubhouse just across the street. Stevens pass is just 25 minutes away if you prefer downhill skiing or snowboarding. For the summer, if you like water sports or horse back riding, it is less than a 5 minute drive to Lake Wenatchee State Park or the Wenatchee River. You can rent kyaks and paddle boards at the state park and we have beach towels for you to use! We love that you can drive to Leavenworth, 18 miles away, for festivals, wineries, breweries, and Christmas lights, but then escape the crowds to this beautiful and convenient getaway. Our spacious 3 bedroom 2.5 bath townhome will sleep 6, so bring your friends or family to reconnect and make new memories. The family friendly townhouse has all the modern conveniences you need to cook up fabulous meals in the well outfitted kitchen or grill on the deck, enjoy some local wine in front of the wood-burning stone fireplace, play board games with your family, and after a great night's sleep, drink your coffee on the deck (you never know, you might see a Moose!). We have a nice supply of games and puzzles for your family entertainment, and books for kids of all ages. There are three TVs in the home; a small TV in the living room and a larger TV in each of the two upstairs bedrooms. They are all ROKU friendly. If you'd rather eat out, the highly rated Wildflour Restaurant is just a short walk across the street and there are restaurants in Leavenworth and Plain, charming towns to explore nearby. We provide you with a list of our favorites in the welcome book! We also have an extensive list of the area wineries in the welcome book. If you have any questions before you arrive or after, we are happy to assist in any way that we can, and will happily provide suggestions for your vacation. During the winter, additional cars need to park in the overflow parking during snows. Overflow parking is only a short hop away. We were notified to move when it was snowing, and moved over to the overflow parking. Upon return to our vehicles, we had notes that we needed to park diagonally, and nose forward. No mention of that in signs or guidance; and you sure couldn't see any diagonal strips when parking on compact snow and ice. The "notes" left on our (iced and snowed-over) windshields were irritating, and pretty unreasonable given the conditions. ##### John K. The condo had plenty of space, was well laid out, and was clean and well cared for. We felt right at home immediately. The instructions for arriving and departing were clear and easy to follow. The access to the house was a breeze. If you want to Cross Country ski, the path is literally right outside your door. We did a snowmobile tour with Leavensworth Snowmobile Tours just 10 minutes away in Plain, and that was a blast. The views from the condo were lovely - snow capped evergreens and it was fun to watch the skiers go by on the trail. Our favorite part was the wood fireplace and living room where we could relax and read and visit in front of the warm fire. The host, Kim, was very responsive to our questions. We had a great time! The entire condo is beautifully decorated, fully stocked with everything you could ever need, very comfortable, and very cozy feeling. The view over the golf course and the mountains was gorgeous. I really enjoyed drinking my coffee and looking out over the 18th hole of the golf course. Easily walk over to golf and the attached restaurant. 5-minute drive down to the lake. Very clean and comfortable. Back deck is peaceful and serene overlooking the golf course and pond. Very close to beautiful Lake Wenatchee state park and beach. Would definitely stay again! One small note, the king and queen beds are fairly high off the ground (especially the upstairs queen), which can be difficult to get in and out of if you have an older person in your group. ##### Matt S. This is one of the best stocked vacation rentals we have stayed at. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some! We enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the mornings and evenings. Since it is a corner unit there are wonderful views from every room. Owner was very responsive when we had a question. Highly recommend this property. ##### Rene S. Nearby Lake Wenatchee was a fun and lively place to swim and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. We loved being able to arrive back home after a day of adventuring to see grand views of the golf course, mountains and sunshine. ##### Elizabeth T. The large kitchen was great for group cooking, the living room had lots of seating for entertaining, and the three bedrooms on two levels provided comfortable family living. K was very attentive with her instructions. The process was very easy to follow. The property was beautiful and view from the balcony was amazing. It is comfortable, clean, spacious and well-appointed. We had a wonderful time while there, relaxing, playing games, enjoying meals, as well as venturing out to x-country ski and dine & shop in Leavenworth. It was very well equipped and comfortably furnished. The location is great - we walked to Lake Wenatchee, drove to Leavenworth, and just enjoyed relaxing - a beautiful view of the golf course too!
