The sizable living room has knotty-pine walls, a glass-front wood stove so you can view the roaring fire, plenty of comfortable seating and gorgeous mountain views. There is a full-sized bathroom boasting two sinks, a toilet and a separate tub and shower. The living room/dining area/kitchen are laid out in an open design, so it's easy to visit with each other while preparing meals. The kitchen is large, and the dining area table seats six comfortably. Off of the kitchen is located the laundry area with another 1/2 bath (toilet/sink) located inside. Glass French doors look out onto the deck and the mountain beyond. This home features a wood stove, great satellite channeling and a projection screen with the TV to enjoy a "real movie night." A deep covered porch extends the length of the cabin, and is supplied with rocking chairs, so you can relax, listen to nature and just breathe. The cabin is located hillside on six acres in a private canyon with only one other resident in a home below. Quiet, beautiful and serene with a private hot tub. There is spotty to little cell phone service at the cabin, but there is a home phone available for your use. Come and enjoy a quiet corner of Leavenworth. It doesn't get better than this. Finally, we located the one on the door itself, the code did not work, had to call manager, no help, then the owner, remotely opened the door for us. The cabin itself was great, loved the Christmas touches for us. The dishes seemed clean but the silverware felt oily. There were assorted tablespoons, but only 2 teaspoons to eat with. Suggest more teaspoons. Also not kleenix tissues, so had to use paper towels or napkins. This is the only place we have stayed that asked us to vacuum the furniture and rugs prior the leaving. I rented this property for myself, my daughter in law, my teenage granddaughter and her best friend. We had a wonderful time. The property is secluded and very private. It is so quiet and one of the most peaceful places I have every rented. There was plenty of room in the cabin and we had a blast just playing games at night, sitting outside, cooking smores and looking at the stars. I would recommend this cabin. It is close to both Leavenworth and Wenatchee. Everything works and it has all of the amenities you can think of. The location is great as well. Just the right distance from downtown. There is a fenced in pet area that we used every day. It snowed heavily during our stay and we bought a sled we left on property for someone else to enjoy after us the kids had blast sledding and building snowmen. It was close to town but still quiet. The cabin was well maintained and comfortable. Location and quaintness are plus. Hot tub sas so relaxing. Lots of games and books to read. Very clean. Anything you needed was available here. Easy to access upom check in. The only issue we had since we have dogs is the fenced dog area was in need of big repair. A lot of down fence line. Comfy with just about anything you might need or want. Hot tub was very clean and relaxing. Porch swing was also relaxing. For toddlers there are deck issues: no guardrail on front of deck (maybe 3 feet drop) and a surprise gap between hot tub and deck that's not visible at night, and my 6 year old found that with his leg, which didn't hurt him. It is very private and quiet with only one house nearby (and down a hill so very little direct line-of-sight). The hot tub was great, the kitchen and utilities worked well, pretty much everything was as advertised. The only thing I'd say about that is the air conditioning is a window-mounted unit in the main living room. It's not central air, and thus the bedrooms do not have AC. However, they do have nice big ceiling fans and we were quite comfortable the whole time. Also, as I think the listing points out, cell phone coverage is spotty. Sometimes we had connection, sometimes we didn't. It wasn't a problem for us and there was good wifi at the property. But if you need a constant phone connection for work or something, then that's something to think about. We had a great time and would definitely stay again! ##### David S. It took a little under 10 minutes to get into Leavenworth and about 20 to lake Wenatchee. The driveway is steep so winter guests for sure need some sort of traction or 4wd.
