Loved our stay, especially with the gas fireplace which we used a lot. Room also included a mini fridge. Clean and comfortable with a great view of the lake. Only problems were missing towel rods in the bathroom and no over-mirror lighting. It was difficult to put makeup on. Still enjoyed our visit very much.

The room was very clean and well appointed. Had a sofa and an easy chair. Bathroom was newly done in ceramic tiles. So glad there was a microwave in the room. Due to food allergies, we rarely can eat in a restaurant, so a microwave is a necessity.
Before we arrived we knew that this hotel was under renovation and it was! Regardless of the state of it from the outside, all of the rooms on the ground floor were totally renovated. They are working on the upstairs rooms next. Our room had a King bed, furnishings were modern including a flat screen TV. We were worried about having breakfast as when we checked in the dinning room was undergoing construction. We were promised it would all be ready for when we got up for breakfast and it was spotless. There is a sign in the lobby advising you of construction from 7 am until 8 pm. We saw workmen, but didn't hear a thing.
The hotel is located in a great location. Theres a tim hortons down the street and 2 gas stations right across. We checked in late so we ordered dominos but there's a pizza restaurant across the street aswell. The hotel was nice. Theres a pool and a pool table which you have to pay for. However there is a elevator which is wheelchair accessible. The breakfast in the morning was great. Muffins, waffles, eggs, sasuages, yogurt, fruit, coffee made up the breakfast.
Not deluxe but more than adequate for the low price. Outside road work made it a bit noisier than otherwise, but the facilities had been renovated not that long ago and we enjoyed our brief stay. Would stay again, gladly. Thanks.
A place to lay your head and watch some tv.....have a cold beer. Fairly clean, but could be cleaner. Bed needed to be updated. Way too soft. Bed sheets were clean, but had some discoloration. Overall not a bad place. Sure beats spending $130 just to sleep somewhere.
