Please read about the environment, ecosystem, and significance of Leamington area under "Where you’ll be"

About Leamington: Leamington is a part of Canada’s Carolinian life zone. The region contains extremely high biodiversity of species, over 500 of which are considered rare. Leamington is famous for its bird season (Spring) to butterfly season (Falls). The entire area is surrounded by excellent flora and fauna. There are many protected areas including Point Pelee National Park, Hillman Marsh, etc.

A few of our guests have asked about the spiders and bugs around the cottage. Please note that we do not use any harsh chemicals to control them as spiders and bugs are a part of the rich ecosystem in the area. We always try to use natural and/or certified insect repellent to minimize the disturbance to the ecological balance and also note our cottage is pet and infant friendly, therefore we are careful with what we use.

You possibly will notice spiders, bugs, and fish-flies outside our cottage, yard, and the trees than where you are coming from. This is very common everywhere in Leamington. Please be considerate of that.

Note: Our property is equipped with CCTV cameras. Cameras cover only the entry/exit doors of the cottage and the driveway. The cameras are motion-activated and record video & audio.

BBQ: A charcoal BBQ grill is provided, but guests are responsible for bringing their own charcoal.

Please move the BBQ outside while cooking.

Spring Getaway
Clean and spacious. We were able to enjoy the hot tub when it rained and the fire pit when it didn't. Short drive to Leamington to try some local restaurants, a winery and the tropical gardens.

Winter Weekend Getaway!
We loved our stay! Beautiful location right on the water which we loved. We were here during a windy winter storm and the place stayed nice and warm for us to stay tucked inside playing board games and watching movies. Clean, nicely stocked, and overall great place to stay!

Relaxing getaway
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was very private, on a large lot and on a nice quiet dead road. The place was very clean and nicely updated inside.

Excellent Space!
Home had everything we needed. Great area, good weather or bad the lake provided drama in high winds and beauty, peace and tranquility in nice weather. Being able to sit and enjoy both in hot tub was a treat. Space was clean, tidy and uncluttered. Fulfilled all our needs for a weekend getaway with friends.

No gimmicks!!!
This was our first rental experience! Being on the lake was amazing and we could bring our dog which meant alot! Ample parking, open concept, books, movies all the emenities Very private also Only drawback was, I was so stressed about keeping the place clean, and pick up dog poop When we arrived first thing we saw, was someone else's dog poop! The kitchen was not that clean either As soon as I mentioned this the owner recognized it and was going to have a check list for cleaning I don't mind keeping it clean etc but I am not paying a cleaning fee when it's not clean when you arrive!!! Otherwise that was it. I would definitely go back!!!!
