Excellent spot for the great outdoors. Located two blocks from the Mineral Belt Trail and a couple minutes from Main Street. Managed By: @TraverseHospitality The Space: This 2 bedroom Garden Level Condominium has a private entrance located at the rear of the main house. With elements of Leadville and history and a sleek modern design which features an electric fire place for added ambience, with one of a kind stain glass windows in each room. The condo is perfect for 2-4 adults looking to stay in a clean new home. There is high speed internet, Spectrum, Netflix and board games for entertainment. A humidifier is provided in the main living area. One bedroom has a full bed, walk-in closet with a TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed with TV. Enjoy a full size fully equipped stainless steel kitchen with dishwasher. The kitchen is ready for cooking, baking, with a toaster, crock pot/ liners, small air frier /liners, coffee pot/coffee provided, electric tea kettle with assorted tea’s and blender. There is a full size washer and dryer with iron and ironing board. Bathroom is supplied with plush towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer. Enjoy a large picnic table in a private court yard right outside the entrance. A bike rack is provided near the entrance for those mountain bike enthusiasts. Please Note: We do utilize a weblink outside the platform that directs guests to our guidebook. You will receive an email with this link. Guest Access: The space is in the garden level apartment with a separate entrance at the rear of the main house. The Neighborhood: This apartment is 2 blocks from the mineral belt trail and a short walk from the train station and downtown Leadville. You'll be surrounded by the highest mountains in the Colorado Rockies where majestic scenery blends with a lively history. There is much to do during your stay including: \- Skiing at nearby Ski Cooper, Copper Mountain, Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek \- Ice skating, sledding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and Nordic skiing on the Mineral Belt Trail. \- Mountain biking for any level of expertise. World-class hiking, mountain climbing, fishing and hunting. \- Shopping, dining, visiting museums or taking a self-guided walking tour in a quintessential Victorian town. \- Following the route of the Silver Kings in Leadville's Mining District. \- Exploring ghost towns. \- Four-wheeling from beginner level to the more advanced 13,186' Mosquito Pass, the highest vehicular road in the United States. Getting Around: Located just 4 blocks from Main street means that most places in town can be reached by foot. There is no on premise parking. There is only parking on 11th and Ash Street. You can catch a bus in town to Copper Mountain and to the Frisco Transit Center. Other Things to Note: License # 004714 This property is NOT pet friendly. Pets are not allowed. This property does not have air conditioning. There is no on premises parking. Exterior of Home, there is a camera pointing into the back of the property and side area. Children are not permitted at this rental. You will be asked to leave if you bring them. Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants. Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking.
