Sugarloaf Lodge is located south of Lead off Hwy 85S, and includes a two-car garage, a hot tub, and central AC. This custom lodge is 4,500 square feet, with four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms on three levels, plus an open loft which is furnished with a queen bed and desk. The primary bedroom has a king bed as well as a second king suite on the lower level. The third has a king bed and bedroom four has a queen bed.  
  
Beyond the second suite in the lower level is the game area with a pool table, poker table, and a TV, a great place for all ages to hang out and have some fun. After a day of enjoying the Black Hills, come back to enjoy a soak in the hot tub or tell stories around the wood-burning firepit. If you want a place with plenty of yard space to play, Sugarloaf will not disappoint!  
  
During the winter months, there is no need to trailer your snowmobiles, because you can park right in the backyard and take off from there. It's a lodge to enjoy the serenity of winter while sipping on a cup of hot cocoa after building that perfect snowman. This lodge is set to create many family memories, with toys included for younger ages.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The place was great and had all tha amenities and more. The only suggestion would be a specific person or manger you can have direct contact with of an issue, instead of an automated response. We had to seek someone out after no water 2 days from amain break down the road

The property itself was gorgeous, including house and yard. Generously stocked especially kitchen. We made our own meals and any cooking utensil needed was there. So much room. Everyone was comfortable. Best place we've ever stayed.

#### Wonderful home, needs TLC

Home was great for our family vacation. Minor TLC would make this house perfect. Grill needs replaced. Door locks need repaired/replaced as several were hard to lock. HVAC has issues. No AC in two bedrooms downstairs in 100 degree heat while master bedroom was cold even with controls shut off in that room.

#### Disappointed & Falsely Advertised

We rented this location for the amenities that it offered. Unfortunately I was not informed that some of those amenities were not in working order. Paid for them but could not use them. Very upsetting. The hot tub did not work and was grossly disgusting when we opened it. The amount of what looked like dead skin inside made me sick!! The fire pit was filled with junk of past renters as was a trash can that was near it. Both these issues were reported to the rental agency and nothing was ever done to correct it or even reach out about it. The house had many other issues between screens broken, doors not in actual working conditions and so forth. Very upsetting paying for these things and not being able to use them.

The location and cleanliness were excellent. However the downstairs door to the deck would not lock. Property manager was aware of this BEFORE we checked in and said they couldn't get parts to repair door lock. We were not made aware of this until we tried to lock the door.

#### Quiet setting

The place was very spacious and clean. It had all the amenities it mentions and probably more. It was very comfortable for our group. Not too far from Lead or Deadwood but we mostly stayed at the house since there was plenty of indoor and outdoor space.. The host group communicated frequently throughout the stay to ensure everything was satisfactory. Plenty of kitchen space - the double ovens were handy. Lots of bathroom space. And the game room was a very popular place for our family to chill. Thanks much!
