This is a quiet and peaceful location. But, in only 20 minutes, you can drive down our 2 1/2 mile gravel road to be in the city of Beckley. There you’ll find lovely local dining options, unique shopping, and all the conveniences of a big city with easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, banks, etc. Guest access You will have complete access to the entire property with touchpad keyless entry! It is still close enough to run to a store or local shop of you need. The location was convinient for us to viait New River Gorge areas. The other rentals next door are much closer than we realized from the listing, but it never created a problem for us. There is plenty of outdoor space with a fire pit, picnic table, trees for a hammock, and lots of space for kids to play. The rooms were clean and beds were comftorable. The house had everything you needed with a good layout. We couldn't have a fire due to the drought, but the firepit looked great. Also, because of the drought, the water levels were low but host provide 6 gallons of drinking water. Con: Directions to the property were not helpful and we had to call VRBO twice while driving around for an hour to figure out where to go. For future, please let guest know to follow the yellow arrow on the paved road and not provide googlemap directions that send you to the dirt road that is locked.
