The gentlemen working front desk very rude, yelled at me because my reservation wasn’t in computer since I booked through Expedia at last min within the hour since my flight was cancelled after traveling for 24 hours. He said I should let people behind me go first since they prob had booked their reservations weeks ago . If he would have asked nicely I would not have had a prob with that I would have been glad to let the couple people behind me check in but how would I have had any idea that a reservation I booked an hour ago through Expedia would not show up immediately in his computer?? When I called him directly to book room he had no rooms avail with two beds and he told me shuttle back to airport started at 8 am. When I went on Expedia they had a room with two beds avail and stated 24 hour shuttle which we needed to be back at airport by 4 am. Coffee area dirty . I will say we had 4 hours to sleep and shower and that’s all we needed would have been upset if we needed it for longer for the price .

The photos used on Expedia website are from another place. The hotel is dingy, dirty, needs major renovation. The furniture in the lobby is not yellow and bright rather old sofas quite worn out. The furniture in the room also worn out. The carpets in the room disgusting. I would give this hotel maximum 3 stars.

We were trapped in New York due to flight delays out of Boston to JFK. Found this location through Expedia. Knew we made a good choice when we saw everyone else on the shuttle were airline crew. Shuttle direct from the terminal running around the clock made this a very easy choice! Five Town Inn will be at the top of my list anytime I need a hotel near JFK in the future.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Old rooms, bedding and TV. They did not even have an proper duvet blanket and we were freezing almost every night. We decided to try the heater, which was expelling dust and made the room super musty and stuffy. The area is not convenient if you`re looking for entertainment and good food. The staff were nice and the lady at the front is very friendly.

Everyone working at this property was so helpful and kind. Our first night we didn’t realize how small the bed was. We asked for a rollaway bed and they offered us a free upgrade to a double bed. Then next night we struggled trying to figure out the AC/heating system. Someone came up and helped us and was very kind. I was nervous about our stay based on the reviews but it was a good stay! This is not a 5 star hotel by any means but it felt like it due to the convenience and hospitality. They are extremely bombarded by the amount of calls related to the shuttle service and I realize most negative reviews have to do with the shuttle service. I didn’t have to use this service so my experience is not related to the shuttle.

Parking was easy. Room was standard. Not super nice but not bad either. Easy 15 min drive to the airport, which is the reason I stayed there. The gentlemen who checked me in was very nice and professional. Not alot around there except for a 24 hour Burger King next door. Would stay here again.

They need to upgrade their basic amenities and customer service. Evening staff on the reception was very uncooperative and rude .long wait for the shuttle . Not going to stay again as not worth the price

It was a great option for a weary traveler, who had missed a connecting flight and needed to get back to JFK in the morning. Booked this hotel at 11 pm and was in the room by 11:45. The free breakfast, and the complementary shuttle from and to the airport was clutch and tbe room was well appointed with products and I was given toothpaste from the front desk. The room was not cleaned as expected - there was hair in the bed and on the toilet and the drain in the tub was scary. The Tv is outdated and has few channels and I could hear doors slamming from the bed but I am still grateful that this hotel was able to accommodate and was very convenient to JFK.
