Located in the heart of the family-friendly "car-free" village of Wengen and just 150m from the village ski slopes and the cable car, mountains, ski areas and hiking are truly on your doorstep!

This centrally located penthouse apartment is newly built to a high standard with a luxury feel and quality furnishings. It’s a large modern open concept living, dining and kitchen area with cleverly designed separate spaces for entertaining and relaxing.  
  
  
  
Enjoy the fabulous views over Wengen, the village ski slopes, and towards the famous Jungfrau and surrounding mountains from its glazed balcony area which can be opened up or kept close. There are balconies on 3 sides of the apartment from which to enjoy the views from different aspects.  
  
  
  
The kitchen is well equipped for all your self-catering needs and the dining area is spacious enough for a large group of family or friends. And if you feel like eating out, the nearest restaurants are 1 - 2 minutes walk away.  
  
  
  
The chalet has a washing machine and drying lines in the large shared laundry room on the ground floor. There is also a heated ski storage room just off the chalet entrance lobby.

**What you should know...**  
  
  
  
Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if you require assistance to your chalet.  
  
  
  
For those planning to explore the Jungfrau region, we at Wengen Apartments offer the convenience of purchasing tickets on your behalf. Please contact us before your arrival to arrange this service.  
  
  
  
Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds and a mezzanine level with 2 additional single beds. The mezzanine level is accessed by a loft ladder and has a low ceiling. The additional 2 single beds are mattresses on low bed-frames and are more suitable for children than adults.  
  
  
  
There is no lift/elevator in this chalet, but it has a 1st-floor entrance at the rear which some guests find more convenient.  
  
  
  
The house rules are that you must remove your footwear on entry into the house, keep the common areas clean and keep noise levels under control. And there are set days for using the shared laundry room which must be observed.  
  
  
  
As part of your booking, a mandatory non-refundable damage waiver of CHF 35 is required. This waiver offers you protection against accidental damage during your stay, ensuring peace of mind without the need for a traditional refundable security deposit.

Overall stay was great, beautiful views and location. Well equipped kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit was a big plus. Management was very responsive. We would stay here again, just think that are some important considerations for others:- we knew there was no elevator, but it is important to know there are 6 flights of stairs to take up. May be difficult for some people. Definitely was a struggle with suitcases.- No air conditioning (common in Switzerland) and no fans. Since the apartment is at the top of the building, it was definitely hot and stuffy in August and had trouble cooling even with all the doors and windows open. Also lots of bugs would get in to the unit with windows open at night since there aren't bug screens.

Lots of rules, no household cleaning supplies, and adjacent to Graf Construction which starts work early. Also, Wengen once was a town without motor vehicles but not it has plenty. Management is top notch.
