« We came to hike so was great location-relatively short drives to copper harbor, eagle harbor, McLain State park, falls etc.. calumet area has options for dining, groceries etc so you don’t have to drive to Houghton, unless desired. « All said it done it was a great location, many things to do at the property itself to stay busy (games and wifi with tv.) and lots to do in the surrounding areas. Host was attentive and kind. They stock the house with most of what you need and its good quality items. (Bed linen, toiletries, paper towel ect) Its a repurposed building so it definitely has it quirks.
