Walked 1 minute from your door to chat with Fiona the water buffalo while Thelma the emu makes rumbling noises deep in her throat & the deer next door graze in the sun? Heard peacocks calling to each other? All of these things & a lot more can be found at this charming get awayThis place was clean, comfy, spacious, scenic, beautiful. The sunsets from the back patio (overlooking the farm) were extraordinary We took 5 post hike showers daily with no loss of hot water. The owners John and Tammie are so sweet, very welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay special! Our kids LOVED seeing all the animals around the property including the famous dog Murphy and his new brother Maverick. It was fun to have such friendly dogs around for our kids. They loved the dogs as much as the camel and zebra. It is a very peaceful and private house which was exactly what we wanted for our weekend getway! Close to all the well known hikes at Hocking Hills State Park. The house is adorable and very clean with everything you need. My daughter from Cincinnati, my son from Columbus. There were 8 of us in total and we had plenty of space. The 2.5 baths were a great feature. My 4 star rating was because of the flies. I believe the owners should have a bug zapper or fly strips to control some of the fly traffic. I understand you can not control nature, especially on a farm, but some measure needs to be taken. Overall we loved our long weekend. The fire pit was amazing. The location is close to all the attractions of Hocking Hills. Have already recommended to my friends! ##### Faith W. The boys ages 3 & 5 loved feeding all the animals. The farm was perfect. The house was very clean and comfortable. The Hocking Hills were so close we enjoyed walks and exploring together.
