The farm it’s located on is beautiful and serene and the house is clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay there again if we’re in the area. »

« The house was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. There was everything you would need to cook. They even left a cookie jar full of homemade cookies. Outside there was a beautiful patio that had chairs and a hammock that you can relax in. There was a n awesome area for the fire pit. The property was licated in a very quiet neighborhood. »

« We traveled from NJ, with family members from overseas, for a trip to Hershey's and Lancaster. We stayed a night at Dean and Christine's lovely home. They had thought of everything and made our stay very comfortable. The house was spotless. They provided us with sourdough cinnamon rolls, bottled water, snacks, and soda, which I have to say was very thoughtful and considerate of them. « Texter Mountain became the perfect location for our family to gather for our Thanksgiving celebration. One family of nine traveled from upstate New York and stayed at the lodge, while seven others, who live locally joined them each day to reconnect and enjoy the beautiful location. « Our crowd loved this house! We weren’t here much; we spent our days out and about, but it has loads of personality. Built in 1846 but it’s been modernized where it counts. There are three floors and most of the beds are on the top floor, with a great whirlpool tub. The only shower is on the bottom floor. The local cafe across the street was a nice touch. Hands down best part was the host was super responsive several times when I reached out, and very nice. Thanks for a great stay! »
