Bad beds dirty won’t be back
Beds are dreadful when discussing with staff was told they have new mattresses but have been too busy to replace the old ones and he changed my room to one with another worn out mattress that you could feel and hear the springs collapse, coffee cups were also dirty with sticky residue on them, hotel is very dated and not clean rooms stink

The rooms are so old, shower base yellow, carpet torn and dirty. The TV should be in a museum. The bed old and sinks had a sore back sleeping on it would have been better to sleep in the car. The split system for heating was so noisy and rattling had to turn it off and freeze in the room. The bread in their upstairs restaurant had mouldy growing on it. Sorry to be direct but I was horrified to stay there.

Room was basic but ok. Went to breakfast to find tables in dining room had not been wiped down after previous use - spill marks, jam etc on tables, bread for breakfast had obviously been put out the night before and loosely covered in cling wrap - it was starting to dry out. The photo in the add shows a white building with red roof. The reality is it is now painted charcoal grey. This made it very difficult to find. I would not stay there again.

The motel was close to the main street. BUT as soon as the door was unlocked and opened I could smell mould. My clothing also smelt like mould after being in the room overnight.

Comfort Inn Traralgon - Worst Place Ever
We are gold members with Hotels.com and this would be the worst rooms we have ever stayed in.Room smelt of smoke. On arrival cigarette butt on window sill outside. The towels and bed linen had a stench of smoke. White towels and linen were not white and had stains. Chipped cups in cupboard. Wardrobe tracks full of dirt. Mirrored wardrobe doors all smeary & room had just been cleaned. Gap in curtain when closed and from outside could see straight into bathroom. Hubby tripped on carpet which is puckered up. Lighting terrible. Shower was dirty & mouldy. Shower door would not close properly & door seal was rotted. Toilet Cistern leaked when flushed. Others were smoking on verandah and smell was coming into room probably from the one inch gap under the door. Everywhere you walked even up on balcony you could see cigarette butts and where there were ashtrays they were full. Air con unit was disgustingly dirty. Walking into dining room for breakfast there were the remnants of a broken wall mirror stuck on wall but with jagged edges waiting for someone to cut themselves. Bare minimum in breakfast room. People continually asking for a spoon, knife, butter etc. The whole establishment is in a rundown dirty condition. Would never stay again & would definitely not recommend to anyone. Was surprised it was even a Comfort Inn and on Hotels.com. We are have stayed all over Australia so feel we are qualified to compare and this place rates as terrible. Wish I had taken photos.

The complimentary Continental Breakfast was really good. However the address conflicts with the address for Alan Wilson Insurance Brokers (where my GPS took me!!).

Desperately in need of a make over! The location is perfect, the staff are nice but the facilities are old and worn out. The toilet was constantly dripping, the carpets were worn and you could feel the springs through the mattress.

Convenient overnight stop
Central location allowed for a stroll around town. Very little traffic noise even though motel is on a major highway. Room was cosy and sufficient for my requirements even though it was an overnight stopover. Make sure you bring your own pillow as well.
