Fabulous hotel and location
3 night stay. Sensational sea views from most rooms. End of season so not busy and plenty of space around public areas. Half board meals with limited but staisfactory choice and well prepared from local, seasonal ingredients. Everything works but limited solar hot water if you wait until late evening.

The truth is that the hotel is built on a hill within nature which does include ants. We do suggest to our guests to avoid eating within their rooms since this attracts ants, perhaps this is what happened in your case. Needless to say, that we apply a pest control system with an external partner, however ants can be very easily attracted by food. Brilliant time.
Think we got the best room in the hotel tbh. Number 21. Next to pool bar and restaurant. Twice the size of the other rooms. Views amazing. Would certainly be going back.

Nice views
Decent hotel with nice pool area. We had a renovated bungalow with a beautiful sea view. A bit far from the town and the restaurant and bar area a bit dated, but good value for the price.

Nice hotel and pool but a 1 mile+ from town and neach. Bed a little hard, nice room with great sea views and beautiful garden. Friendly and professional staff. Hotel, rooms and grounds well maintained and clean.

A nice hotel, lovely sea views, we enjoyed the facilities which were as expected from the photos we saw on booking. Air conditioning was great as weather was very hot. Bus stops close to hotel for both Elounda and Agios Nikolaos which were great for trips out. This is a nice area but quite far out for visits to some other parts of Crete without a car. We enjoyed a week here and the views from the terrace by the pool were lovely last thing at night with a long cool drink before bed.

Nice hotel. Gorgeous pool and great view. Room s were at best ordinary for such a posh hotel. What really disapointed us was the addotional and never ending costs and extra fees for such regular services as towels at the pool and WIFI.... We were even scholded for using a tray to bring our breakfast to the table. Very underwhelmed to say the least.

Good hotel but beware of rooms!
Nice hotel with great staff. Our main issue was our room, we were given a very old room that was soo not like the photos on the website that I booked through. After complaining they offered a renovated one but it only had 1 room for 4 of us to sleep in and wanted to charge €30 extra per night, so we stayed where we were. My advise is just beware of the different rooms, this was a family room, no air conditioning in 2nd bedroom and no tv in main bedroom. Hotel overall was great but this was disappointing for us.

we had a good time in elounda ilion.the location of the hotel, overlooking the mirabelle-bay couldn't be any better , also the pool area and the restaurant are very good the personal at reception and restaurant is very helpful.the bungalows are good size with nice view.the only thing what vould be better is the cleaning of the room, but maybe it is because the hotel just opened when we arrived. but i would anytime come back to the elounda ilion.

The toilet didn't work when we checked in. They sent a repair woman who was unable to fix it. Finally, after several complaints, they moved us to a different room. The buffet dinner was mediocre. The location is nearly impossible to reach with a rental car because the street is so narrow and there is frequent on-coming traffic. This hotel appears to cater to tour groups and cruise passengers. Not recommended for the individual tourist driving a rental car.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel at the end of June and enjoyed it very much. The room was fairly basic but was clean and had a lovely terrace covered in flowers. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and bar area is lovely. The evening buffet meal was included in the price and it was quite good. If I'd been staying there a week I don't think I would have wanted to eat there every night, but the food wasn't bad and the restaurant area is nice with views out over the sea.

Die gesamte Hotelanlage war gepflegt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und unser Zimmer sehr sauber. Lediglich die Armaturen im Bad waren nicht in Ordnung und müssten mal ausgetauscht werden. Insgesamt haben wir uns in dem Hotel wohlgefühlt.

bon séjour dans un excellent cadre
tres bon séjour, seulement 2 point négatif : - Le frigo fait beaucoup trop de bruit et nous avons été obligé de le débrancher la nuite, - La chasse d'eau met 10 minutes a se remplir et est tres bruillante.

Hôtel bien situé , grande chambre avec vue sur mer mais sur les 3 jours il y a eu une soirée avec de la musique très forte sur la piscine. Ca résonnait dans la chambre et impossible de tenir sur la piscine tellement c'était fort.

Hotel molto bello con stupenda vista sul golfo di Mirabello. Le mille tonalità di azzurro del mare avvolgono tutto in una atmosfera da sogno e, al tramonto, il paesaggio sullo sfondo si tinge di rosa. Meraviglioso! Ottimo hotel, personale sempre disponibile, gentile e simpatico, buona e varia la cucina internazionale. Splendide le aree esterne con piscine e un'ampia terrazza.
