The small room safes in the hotel are old. The locksmith who had to come to our room to open ours when it jammed told us so. The safe failed to open twice on different days and we had to seek assistance which, the second time, took 2 hours to arrive. One night the water was off and there was none available to wash or flush the toilet. The bathroom floor was sticky to the touch and had clearly not been cleaned for some time. When I tried to connect to the Wi-Fi I received a message saying it was not secure and passwords could be stolen. Try as I might I could not get past that page to risk it. Then, to add insult to injury, we were charged a "Resort Fee", which we were told includes the Wi-Fi access, amounting to $35 Per Day. We paid that for no service at all in my opinion. I had occasion to make two very short calls back to the UK. I did not have my mobile with me so used the hotel phone in the room. Approximately 5 minutes cost me $78.47. We asked for a room with a Strip view and agreed to an extra $10 per night to cover that. What we got was a room with a view of the airport. When asked at check out how our stay had been I relayed all this information to the member of staff who simply said "Oh, sorry about that".
