Birthday Trip to Las Vegas

Posted 27-Feb-2017
Pros: A good selection of bars, restaurants and shops in a design of old New York back streets.
Cons: The rooms are starting to look a bit tired and could do with a makeover.
Location: The position was good for us opposite the MGM Grand with the monorail going down the Strip and the Buses to the Outlet Malls.
On arrival the staff were very attentive they sort out our room and directed us to the lifts, explaining the Breakfast Deal and the famous Steak Restaurant. The room was of a good size and looked out onto the Vegas Strip, In the evening the lights and view were amazing from the 12th floor.

OK

Posted 27-Feb-2017
The $30/night fee is excessive, $10/night parking is excessive. Slow check in process. Even slower check out line. Room a bit dated. No coffee maker or mini fridge in rooms. Slowest Starbucks on the planet in the lobby. They add a "service charge" to everything, but the staff don't get it all like a tip - so be sure to tip extra. Not the staff's fault the management are gouging with this fee. All restaurants and staff were excellent. Great spa, room service, housekeeping, etc.

Great hotel; location ideal, right on the strip.

Posted 26-Feb-2017
Pros: Location, clean, everything you need is accessible..
Cons: Maybe offering meal packages.
Location: Expedia has a great section on 'things to do' in Vegas so many excursions to chose from. Definitely check it out!
This having been our first time in Las Vegas we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There is so much to do while you're there. The variety of shows are endless but would definitely recommend seeing Cirque du Soleil - The Beatles LOVE. Truly amazing! The RTC (strip transit) was perfect for getting around both along the strip and heading to the Fremont Experience; another attraction that is a must! Overall great vacation!

Good location

Posted 26-Feb-2017
Pros: Clean, nicely located to the main part of the strip.
Location: Miracle Mile Shops were vast and would have shopped there if had more time as we only found it the last day.
Nicely located. Staff friendly & helpful. The pizza on the main floor was fabulous and wish we had tried it sooner.

Nice Hotel

Posted 26-Feb-2017
Pros: Size of the room. The view from the 25th floor was spectacular. Good size bathrooms. Great ventilation system in casino.
Cons: Bathrobes in the rooms, updated decor. Need double sinks in vanity. Mini fridge in room to care for left overs. Two night stands in a large room.
Location: Everything that is Las Vegas is nearby.
Location at the south end of strip makes for a long walk. Difficult climbing stairs to sky bridges, bad design. When checking in, we were offered upgrades (a lot of up selling) but it was worth the value. Galloper's Restaurant served one of the best steak I have ever eaten, service was prompt and thorough. Valet services and parking were outstanding.

Nice place, lots of neat shops inside

Posted 26-Feb-2017
This is the second time I stayed at New York New York. The hotel has alot to offer, nice resteraunts, nice shops. The rooms are fine, they were clean. The check in part was terrible though. They only had one person checking guests in, and there was a line of about 50 people waitng. We only had two people in front of us and it took 35 minutes to get to the counter and the lady checking in was extremely slow.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Restaurants a little pricey though.
