Close to Airport and Vegas strip, but lacking.

Posted 3-Dec-2016
Pros: Comfortable bed.
Cons: Almost everything could have been improved upon. Lighting, smell, plumbing, closet doors, dim hallways, . . . .
Location: This was the saving grace of the hotel. Close to airport and strip.
Good location, but old and rundown rooms and elevators. Bed was comfortable, plumbing drained slow, room was dim and felt dated. A remodel is needed quickly. Hotel staff seemed capable. Casino staff was fine. Just an old hotel that needs attention to details. I would not recommend unless all you plan on doing in the room is sleeping and not extra time is spent there. It is worth a few more dollars a day to try and get a more modern hotel.

Hooters. Not a used Party Barge.

Posted 1-Dec-2016
Pros: Easy access from freeway Friendly staff Clean room
Cons: Nothing from my experience needed improvement
Location: Within walking distance (long walk) to Bellagio, Caesars, New York New York, and others. There is even an Outback Steakhouse buried a block away.
From pulling off the highway to checking into my room, I found the hotel convenient to get to, easy to get from the parking lot to the front desk and full of helpful staff. I booked this hotel from a discount but found no shorting of service available. I had an initial slow down at the front desk while they tried to find my reservation but this turned out to be the result of the booking engine; I am a Jr and the engine listed that as my last name. Sheila, the front desk agent helping me, was engaging and friendly and was full of suggestions for things to do and other restaurants around the area. She explained what was offered at the hotel and had plenty of discounts available for me there too. Sheila was great. My room was large and comfortable and was clean and ready for me. I had breakfast the next morning as part of my room package. Being to include this simplified my morning. I found the food prepared well and to my order. Overall, my experience was very good and I would consider staying there again.

Good location and price, but cheaper quality

Posted 28-Nov-2016
Pros: Price, location
Cons: Quality of rooms, open all casino tables, hire more "Hooter Girls" that go with the theme.
Location: Basically on the strip- right next to the Tropicana, which is on the strip
Located right next to Tropicana (which is on the strip), you are basically on strip so the location is good. The casino is small and only had about 10 tables open on a Saturday night. The room was really disappointing and felt like a motel 6 room- towels are the hard industrial towels, the bed was cheap and the the room was sparse like a motel.

Believe the reviews, stay elsewhere

Posted 26-Nov-2016
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Rooms need full remodel, not just to slap on new paint over everything
Booked a room for a week because it was close to the show we went to last year. The show changed locations, but couldn't change the hotel. Their remodeled rooms included new paint and beds. There was no furniture in the room other than the bed, they said was going to be there in a day, but the truck showed up 4 days later when we were leaving. Odor of marijuana smoke everyday in the halls. unless you need a cheap place to stay, go somewhere else. Staff was very nice, but there's better places to stay for the money, we will not be back.
