Bring your bathing suit and a good pair of hiking shoes! \*Willow Beach and Emerald Cove (35 minutes). Further south on the Colorado, you can canoe or paddleboard to a hidden Emerald Cove and enjoy the cool Colorado River even when outside temperatures are over 100\. Be sure to reserve in advance and arrive early if renting equipment. \*Mount Charleston (45 minutes). When it's hot outside, you can still retreat to Mount Charleston for high-elevation hikes. Mary Jane Falls is one of our favorites. \*Valley of Fire State Park (40 minutes). Incredible red rock sandstone formations, unique hiking in slot canyons just north of Las Vegas. Worth the detour anytime of the year except summer when it is too hot. Note: our home is a legal 4 bedroom, with one bedroom offering a barn door allowing it to be privately divided in two. It is permitted by Henderson City for up to 10 adults. We will under some circumstances allow more if occupants are young children. If you are unsure, please inquire. No excess noise either inside or outside over 70 Db outside of quiet hours, or 60 Db during quiet hours (10pm-10am weekends, 10pm-7am weekdays). No noise in the back yard, no use of pool or spa outside quiet hours. Take it inside after 10pm. \- No more than 10 overnight guests and 14 daytime guests, and no additional visitors unless expressly given permission by hosts. \- No smoking or vaping indoors, no marijuana or drugs. - No alcohol in the pool and spa. All use of pool, spa, gym or any other home amenity is at guests’ own risk. \- No overnight parking off premises. Please use the driveway and garage space if needed. See house rules for full details. Per Henderson City requirements, guests will be monitored for noise and parking violations. THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD. We like our neighbors very much and expect you to act respectfully. Only 15-20 minutes from the Vegas Strip. Owner was very accommodating and answered questions promptly. He let us check in early. The house had all the amenities of home. The yard was the best part. We had a great time enjoying the pool with the hot weather. There were 8 of us, my husband and I, my dad and our 5 adult children. We had plenty of space. My three adult children and I and four grandchildren stayed at the home. It was absolutely perfect for us. The hosts have made it very special and have paid attention to detail in every area. It had spacious rooms and killer HVAC that cooled us off in the hot Vegas summer! It was less than 10 min drive to Green Valley Ranch was a 5 minute walk to a very nice park. I can’t say enough good things about this stay. It was about a 15-20 min beautiful drive to the strip, quiet neighborhood, and we had all the basic necessities we needed to stay for the week without having to go pick up from the store once we arrived. Pool table inside, ping pong table, pool, and grill outside, lots of space inside for our family of 6\. The back yard area was beautiful and pool was fantastic with water fall as pictured. It was also fenced in for privacy. Multi level with stairs and open floor plan made it easy to spend time with my entire family while relaxing in main living area and not missing out on anything. Home is well maintained as pool guy came during our stay and the host had informed us of this so it was not a surprise to us, also pest control maintenance guy came to spray outside. We saw no signs of bugs and house was so clean upon arrival. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely return! ##### JANICE Q. My team of 5 stayed for a full week while in town for a trade show. We loved having so many indoor and outdoor spaces to hang, entertain, be alone and work. We requested early check-in (twice) and were accommodated immediately. I realize that properties are under heavy use and would imagine that there is a "cycle" when updates, deep cleanings, and fresh paint jobs are done.I say that because I'm thinking that we may have been towards the end of the "cycle". The pool and spa are an obvious highlight, but the entire backyard patio/grill area is a fabulous place to spend an afternoon or evening.
