Nice Buffet, some young staff by the Elevator seemed grumpy and uncomfortable .. Casino area seemed little more smoky , compared to other hotel.. perhaps some ventilation issue..? Over all it wasn't too bad.. But perhaps will try some other younger hotel next time

Smoking fee

Posted 19-Jul-2017
Check in was a mess. We did mobile check-in and got a room number emailed to us. Went to the "mobile check in line" and had to wait an hour to finally get our room. Stay was great! Room was very nice with great view ,show was wonderful, staff was great..... everything good right? Wrong! Next morning I get e-mail with a $300 bill for "smoking fee" Now I enjoy many vices however smoking is not one of them. I don't smoke and never have. Nobody was allowed in the room, it just didn't happen. I have tried to call ,no luck. I have sent two emails and received an automated reply that they would need 7-10 business days to respond. I am now on hold now with my credit card company to dispute the charges. So far a couple hours out of my life for no reason.

Meh....

The Bellagio has gone downhill a bit since it opened in the late 90's. It's in desperate need of renovation to keep up with newer, more luxurious hotels in Vegas. If you really want a luxury experience, I recommend the Wynn over the Bellagio.

Great Las Vegas Experience

Posted 19-Jul-2017
Pros: Spectacular surroundings!
Cons: Treat clients like it's their first time on this large floor space... directories and personal staff directing and answering questions on the floor!
Location: Again strip is like a rat maze now and needs better crowd control (Info Kiosks) maybe even golf cart transportation in and outside between hotels?
Checking in was horrible... Disney World Lines... Limited signage for "Dummy's" needs more lighted directories everywhere to save time walking back and forth. Shops are not in tune with the new/lesser class of guests in Vegas strip now... they need to reevaluate the marketplace and clientele. Dress was overly casual... Vegas has lost allot of it's charm and has been dumbed down, dressed down and shops were constantly empty and way way way over the head of it's customers pockets. Street venders had a used car salesmen mentality... Gambling was sparse at best. People/Guests appear to be wise that Vegas is not a "Get Rich Quick Town Anymore" no bells or winner's screaming anymore just money in no money out??? The Hotel remains to look and feel classy! Service people were very attentive and new their roles.

Perfect location!

This hotel was in the heart of the strip! We didn't have to leave the hotel for anything but we wanted to explore Vegas so we did. Everything was excellent here. I would definitely go back!

Beautiful hotel, awful check in

Posted 18-Jul-2017
Pros: Everything except the check in.
Cons: See aboe.
We booked one night at the Bellagio at the end of a week-long visit out west. My wife and I were travelling with her parents and my mother, all in their 80's. We arrived at the hotel, and discovered to our dismay that the check-in line was exceptionally long. All told, the check in process took almost 45 minutes. While I understand that things happen, and check in lines in Las Vegas are notoriously long, I would expect a resort that is as upscale as Bellagio would have plans for such a situation. While the hotel itself was beautiful, the check in experience marred our visit, and I will be reluctant to stay here again.
