"Nice location and several nice touches around the place in terms of decor and at breakfast. Lovely large balcony. Friendly host and staff. Downsides: The mattress was quite shallow and on solid struts so didn’t provide much comfort or support when sitting or sleeping on it. The drains in the bathroom smelled a lot and the room only has a 50 litre hot water supply tank so it runs out very fast in the shower. Max shower time was about 5 minutes before it ran out, then you have to wait half hour...

"Lovely property and perfectly located for our cruise embarkation. We experienced a medical emergency during our stay and the staff could not have been more helpful or caring. I only wish I could remember the name of the woman who took charge so I could thank her specifically. "

"The staff were all friendly and helpful from arrival to departure, with the exception of the Marinas bar, which is a franchise. The room (suite) was OK, but daily cleaning less thorough than might be expected (glasses and cups not washed). The curtains were good at light blocking but extremely noisy to operate. We were on 6th floor so relied on lifts which were swift, but one was unreliable in direction or refused to move occasionally. Breakfast buffet had a wide choice but quality was below...
