Check in was easy. Desk clerks and kitchen staff were amazing. Hotel is next to mall and several restaurants. We stay at this hotel whenever we are in town. Room was quiet and beds were comfortable. Hotel is next to I35.

24/7 Airport shuttle was not available and I had to pay $40.00 for a private driver. Advertised amenities should be changed to show only certain hours for airport pickup.

Fix the heaters!!
The room that was assigned to us - the heater didn't work. The young man at the front desk was very nice and helpful as he tried very hard to accommodate us. Finally after talking to his superior he was authorized to give us a suite. It took some time and it was late, but we finally got in the room and it was good.

It was our first hotel stay with our newborn and it was a pleasant one. The location of the hotel is excellent. So many restaurants around the hotel, which was very convenient. Breakfast provided by the hotel was okay, not Marriott standard. There is not much variety for hot breakfast. The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Uncomfortable stay
This location promoted that the rooms had been remodeled and that was a completely false advertisement. Lets start in the bathroom: the shower head had calcium buildup that looked like at least a year old. A bracelet was the floor from the previous occupants and the door didnt closed all the way unless some force was applied. There was a very wet spot near the thermostat that seem to appear put of no where, couldn't find the source. First night lost television service. The small refrigerator was unpluged and once plugged in never really got cold even though it was set to max. We were charged a deposit for each day of our stay and thats fine but when we checked in, we weren't informed and so it was a surprise. After 2 days our backs hurt from the very uncomfortable bed. Unfortunately, we didn't have any choice but to stay here as all the other hotels were full. We will not be staying here again and do not recommend.

The room was nice and clean, the property was nice overall (and quiet), the staff was friendly and helpful. The only issues I had were minor ones: shower valve was stuck and I had to almost break it to get it to work, cable went out in the evening one night and I couldn't watch anything on TV, AC was a little loud, waffle irons were out of service. None of those are deal breakers for me, and I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Laredo.

The staff at the front office were exceptional. We had a travel delay and they were very accommodating with changing our reservations and even holding a room in case we need to stay one more day. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous.
