The place is warm and cozy and the area is quiet and beautiful. Sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch was so relaxing. We visited High Knob, Canyon Vista, Dushore and Eagles Mere. It was our second time and it won't be the last. I’ve stayed at 3 different properties over the past 3 yrs at LM & this is by far my favorite. Beach within walking distance and property accessible to running/walking trails throughout Lake Mokoma. Quiet in the evenings and all of the necessities were provided- towels/linens and coffee pods! Would definitely visit Katonah House again! Super enjoyed time spent reading in the evenings in the enclosed porch and happy hour on the front porch. Kayaks were available too. Highly recommend. If you’re into hiking World’s End, Loyalsock, Old Logger’s, and Ricketts are super close (loyalsock haystacks is about 7 minutes.) Hidden Gem day spa in Laporte is great for beauty treatments. Book ahead. Shout out to World’s End coffee in Eagles Mere. And if you’re willing to drive for dinner Basil (reservation) in Muncy has the best pizza ever.
