Being honest, we had wanted a short trip where we could soak up some sun (being from the UK) and didn't have to leave the property we were staying in, eventually we landed on Paradisus and I'm so glad we did.
The hotel is beautiful, very unique architecture and well maintained, it definitely has 'wow' factor. The large pool area is immaculate as well as being lovely and quiet (probably down to it being January but the fact that it's adults only didn't hurt). There is have beautiful live music playing during some meal-times, during the day and entertainment in the evenings which adds to the relaxing ambiance of the hotel.
Dailos welcomed us when we arrived and is just the loveliest person, although all the staff were extremely friendly and courteous throughout the stay. The room was quite basic and a bit of a struggle if you're working while away as the table is quite small but it was very clean and comfortable.
There are 3 restaurants on site, we had heard the Italian was the best but that was our least favourite of the 3 (maybe we just ordered wrong), both La Graciosa (local cuisine) and Samira (middle-eastern) were impeccable. We used the buffet on two evenings and felt that was the only part of the stay that didn't feel up to the 5* rating; it was a typical buffet with things being a bit cold and not a huge selection but overall we were happy with the stay and felt the all-inclusive aspect to be well worth the cost.
