Before going here we were a little worried by some of negative reviews. What a pleasant suprise, Apartment basic but clean. Food very good with something for everyone. You must judge thus hotel against price you paid, It is superb value for money. Majir negative was bar in the evening. Serving wine in a plastic cup is not acceptable. The bar was so poor for range if drinks and presentation.

Nice week in the winter sun.
Ignore the bad reviews. Yes the hotel needs updating and a lick of paint, but over all a good hotel. Food was good, drinks good too. The staff are very helpful and super friendly! The only complaints we heard were from the people who had been drinking all day. Remember this is not a 5 star hotel. If you want 5 star then pay for 5 star. All in all a very nice chilled out week for me and my wife. Thank you very much Blue Sea. Lee and Tracy.

GOOD STAY
First apartment 208 at back area we were given was horrible, dirty , smelt and very noisy from clubs /bars nearby, apartment very much needing some TLC We upgraded for a small fee for a newer ground floor apartment nearer beach overlooking pool which was 100% nicer, Food was plain but we found enough to eat each meal time, Area was great for bars, shops and beach within 5 mins walk. For what we paid for are stay we were happy with apartment and food we had after the upgrade.

The accommodation is centrally situated in Costa Teguise, ideally placed to take advantage of all the amenities - shops, restaurants, beaches.The rear entrance to the hotel opens onto the coastal promenade which you can follow along the entire length of Costa Teguise. The staff at the hotel were lovely and helpful; the complex kept very clean. The room was clean and comfortable but did need upgrading - a programme of upgrades was in place. The kitchen did have a hob, kettle and toaster. All inclusive was well worth having as it was only a small amount more than room only. We had no problem with the food on offer - do try some different dishes and enjoyed all the meals. The coffee from the machine was delicious! Free car parking is adjacent to the hotel plus there is a large public car park at the end of the road. Two lovely swimming pools which, although unheated, were great to swim in.

March get away.
Hotel is right on the sea edge, close to shops, bars etc. Rooms were clean, but cold out of high season. No heating, had to hire from front desk, and extra blankets. Food was repetitive and not very warm.

Only plus was food and drink in fridge when we arrived as restaurant closed. The accomodation was run down and had no added amenities, no hairdryer, limited toiletries, overall very disappointing. Walls were damp and paint peeling off, bathroom door sticking to floor making it hard to enter/leave. Kitchen cupboard coming away from wall, no plugs in any of the sinks/bath.

Very basic accommodation
The apartment was very basic, and had been painted very badly with lots of repairs needing to be done. The fridge had rods missing from the door so you couldn't store anything there and the freezer compartment didn't work. The sofa was completely broken and you couldn't even sit on it let alone sleep in it. There was no blackout curtains and they were hanging off at each end. However the grounds and pool area were clean and well maintained.

I didn’t like the cracked and loose floor tiles,or the little black mites crawling on the worktops,or the patio door you could hardly open,or the fact there was no climate control it was very cold,or the fact the food was disgusting and mostly inedible,the last comment isn’t good if you are all inclusive we ate out a lot,the only saving grace was the staff they were friendly and helpful will NOT stay there again

Not as described or expected.
The hotel is in a great location. The hotel looks good on the pictures but don’t be fooled by them. The rooms are tired, dated, falling apart and smell dreadful. We had to be moved after one night as the stench of mold is overpowering. The second room was slightly better but ended up buying a plug in air freshener to mask the smell. No sign of the towels made into swans in fact I think they barely pushed a brush around all week. Food!! Basic, repetitive and cold, they do provide a microwave though..had food out most nights which defeated the object of being all inclusive. For the drinkers, bar closes at 10. No evening entertainment except one game of bingo in what I can only describe as a school hall. Disappointed in the hotel itself, just glad I’d been to the area before so knew what was out and about

Decent hotel badly let down by beds!
Hotel is starting to show age. In need of repaint and some tlc. Despite this, the rooms and facilities were spotlessly clean and the food in the restaurant was of good quality and varied. The beds are quite basic, almost camp style and not very comfortable- I found it difficult to get a decent night sleep and ended up on a mattress on the floor! The location of this hotel is great, right down by coastal path and direct access to boardwalk. All staff were pleasant and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was the pool/seating area reserved for what appeared to be German guests - not mentioned in any promotional material I read - which I think is a bit rude.There is another non reserved section where all are welcome but that’s not the point- all guests should be treated equally- or it should be stated somewhere before booking! We stayed in a room at the back of the complex and it was quite noisy from the pub in the street behind until the early hours so wouldn’t be suitable for small children.

This is my 4th visit to the hotel. It is not 5* so anyone wanting fancy rooms and 5* facilities this is not for you but it is cheap, the food is ok but the location beats many other hotels in Costa Tequise even some of the 5* ones. I will be staying there again.

Better than I thought it would be!
Having read numerous reviews (ranging from very bad to very good) I was pleasantly surprised that the complex was better than I was expecting. The weather was appalling for my first week (no-ones fault naturally). Nice quick check-in when I arrived (in howling gale). Not over excited to find my allocated apartment was situated at furthest corner of complex - top floor (which was what I wanted) in a frankly shabby block - outside needed some urgent TLC (external railings on stairs needed rubbing down and repainting, as did the balcony railing). Apartment itself was a little shabby (bedroom window needed refurbishing, no doors on the wardrobes). However overall the apartment was spotlessly clean when I arrived (and kept that way by pleasant cleaning ladies over my 12 day stay). There was a new kettle (useful for odd cups of coffee) and toaster (not needed). Kitchen area in general was clean but a little tired (like most of apartment in fact). Bathroom fine with decent shower and always plenty of hot water. Very comfortable bed (only used one) with clean crisp linen with blankets in the wardrobe (actually used as weather was unusually cold for time of year). Was all inclusive and found that the food was perfectly acceptable (always found something to eat) - restaurant felt a little soulless but waiting staff superb, always friendly while working non-stop to clear tables. Great gate from pool area onto walkway with my favourite beach nearby (reason why I chose here)

Lovely views from the pool.
This place has some bad reviews however, this is my second visit and while the rooms are definitely a little jaded but how long do you actually spend in your room?! On the positive side; the beds are comfortable, the showers are hot and powerful and there is plenty of wardrobe space. The pool area is very nice. The food is varied enough for you to find something to eat. If you feel that the temperature of the food is not to your liking there is a microwave provided. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful. ( if you are pleasant to people they are always pleasant to you) Some other guests can be quite rude to the staff which is not necessary at all. My one gripe would be that the lights in the toilets on the way to the restaurant are on a timer and do not stay on long enough and the dryer there does not dry your hands very well. But that's only a minor gripe.

Nice hotel+staff, close to beach
Went all inclusive, food is recycled, breakfast to lunch etc. Issue of theft (electrical items) excists on site. I was not a victim. closest hotel to the beach, Pools are great, cleaned everynight. Plenty of room for everyone around pool areas. Apartments are spacious, beds are ok, but sofa beds are useless. House keeping is done every 48hrs, this should be done everyday, Staff are friendly+helpfull. Friendly/safe atmosphere for children.

Worst "hotel" ever
We've been to quite a few hotels in the past from Donegal to Rhodes, from Cape Verde to Mauritius and this has to be the worst ever hotel that we have come across! The published apartment photos bare no resemblance to the actual apartment interiors. Restaurant is very small and gets very congested at meal times resulting with guests being locked out! Food very repetitive and bland and the only place on Earth that I've had baked bean soup, really! Bar staff have to cover restaurant at meal times so it is very difficult to get a drink at the bar as there is no-one to serve you. Our apartment furniture (if you can call it that) should have been put in a skip years ago as our sitting room sofa had been repaired repeatedly with nails, Beds where what can only be described as camping beds and where extremely uncomfortable, creaky and left us both with aching backs in the morning. Peeling paint everywhere. Corporate (yes thats what they called it and NOT for the normal paying guest) lounging area by the main pool is where the fertile cats go to toilet so don't use it if at all possible. Sun loungers are old and many are cracked and dangerous! On a plus though pool are well maintained and clean!

You just can't beat the location of this hotel - everything was acceptable with regard to the room, food etc but it is 2* not 5* and we knew this when we booked (this is our second year at this hotel)

Great for the price I paid.
Good points: Overall the staff were very professional, friendly and happy to assist. The food choices and quality were good, although 'continental warm' on occasions. The complex felt safe and is in a great location for access to the town and waterfont. In general, the layout of rooms and pools/facilities was as shown in the company's pictures. Down side: The apartment my wife and I stayed in was dated and in need of a complete refurbishement. (We saw some activity taking place to do so with one apartment, so this is taking place). There are additional charges for basics such as kettle (even though in an apartment with kitchen/cooking area) hairdryer and basic tv chanells.

The All Inclusive food was the worst I have come across, poor choice, there was only one meal in seven days which I didn't have to heat in the microwave, and I am not a fussy person, as why I didn't bother complaining. I would stay in the apartments again but not eat at there restaurant. sorry

Where do I start ........nothing like the pictures
Arrived at hotel, to be told by mineral receptionist David, that we had not got a reservation there , even though I had print out and all necessary paperwork from Expedia. David didn't speak good English, so expected us to call Expedia and sort this ourselves. Finally, it was sorted and we were given 'the last available room , 224'. We had arrived at 20.15, but it took till 21.45 to finally get our room key. By now we were very upset, and hungry. Restaurant shut at 21.00 , so we had to go without food, even though we were all inclusive, so first day wasted. Room was very basic, not particularly clean, and although we had asked for a room with a sea view, as we were celebrating my husbands birthday.....instead, from our bedroom window we had a view of a tree, and from the front we had a view of reception. Food was very poor, and repetitive. Drinks were served in plastic cups, meal times were not good either, evening being 7-9, which we thought was quite late for people with small children. On our last day we had breakfast, but had to check out at 11, and have our wristbands cut off. Our all inclusive stopped then, even though we weren't leaving til 3. The only plus for this apartment complex was the position to the sea front and shops. Really disappointed and upset by the way we were treated and would not return or recommend to friends.

The complex is nicely positioned for the beach but thats the only positive.On day 2 a note was left in the room advising the bath/shower was to be replaced the next day and would be unable to use it for 6 hours so basically a whole day of disruption.Finally 24hours later and after 4 long discussions with reception (no managers available) they agreed to relocate us to a different apartment. on day 5 a group of approx 50 teenagers arrived for a local basket ball tournement and the complex resembled an unsupervised playground.several guests complained but this was met with a shrug of the shoulders and informed the basket ball team would be gone in 4 days!.no action was taken by the management, no recompence offered. We checked out 2 days early and moved to another hotel. Caution- not all areas (sea view seating)shown on the web site are availbe to all guests, some are reserved for guests booked via a German ageny.

disappointed with this hotel ,given a room that got no sun at anytime of day, therefore apartment was always cold so we had to hire a fire and ask for extra blankets ,the food was very basic more or less the same menu each night and same breakfast each morning .paid for english tv but still got mostly german or spanish speaking channels ,only goood thing at this hotel was the staff all of them were very helpful and polite .

Not impressed about no entertainment on as main bar was closed for summer. The life guard was too busy trimming the trees and sweeping up to watch the pool, the reception girls were very friendly and helpful but it took a while to get their attention at times. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping came to change the sheets every other day. The pool bar is rather expensive if you aren't all inclusive but there are plenty of cheap bars around including The Abbey Road which is just around the corner. Its right next to town or the beach which is great for anyone.

My friend and I wanted a few days of sunshine on a budget and decided to stay at this hotel. I'll be honest - it's basic, a bit tatty around the edges but it provides the basics: a comfortable bed, a shower (that isn't very powerful and is luke warm) but it does the job. The breakfast selection was great with lots of new food being replenished regularly by the busy staff.

was very nervous after reading some other reviews but was very happy with the hotel pools are perfect plenty of loungers staff are lovely room was cleaned 3times during our week beach is a 2 minute walk great views food was buffet style but there are plenty of bars and resturants only thing we didnt like was there is no night time entertainment in the hotel for familys and not much going on for the kids we had 2 15 year old and an 11 year old but overall it was a great relaxing holiday

Excellent central location but apartments were very basic with only 2 rings and a fridge in the kitchen. Maid service was only every second day and our room wasn't done till about 5 o'clock by which time it was a very quick wipe around. We were in the block which didn't get the sun although there was a very nice patio area to the side of the pool facing the sea which was a real sun trap.

When we arrived we found the light on the patio not working,the toilet was running continuously and we only had one large saucepan,the next morning we reported these faults and by the afternoon they had all been satisfactory put right.

Booked self catering as wanted to be able to, but ... only 1 x 5lt pan+ frying pan provided ! 2 x hot plates - one only got warm the other a little better . Able to hire microwave and kettle [20 euros- special xmas deal !] No bath/sink/washbasin plugs - not policy to provide them evidently but did find us one. Water pressure very poor.... only warm water for 2 mins - had it checked then got hot water but still only for 2mins shower /2ins in bath - noticed water tank was tiny. Painted [ordinary paint] but flaking off bath !! 20 euros for British TV Very tired but clean apartment The two front facing blocks are now managed by a German firm and have been refurnished/up graded and have their own stylish sun terraces with key pad entry

Blue sea beech hotel, costa teguise
Very helpful staff keep the hotel running efficiently and are never far away to assist guests. The room we stayed in was a first floor one bed apartment with balcony, kitchen and bathroom. All the rooms were a good size and in good shape. Some of the decor was a little tatty in places but clean and comfortable. The rooms are cleaned every other day by hotel staff but offer a replacement towel or bedding service anytime of day. The pool side bar offers food and drink to satisfy most though we noticed that the all inclusive guests were given priority in service. As we were self catering, we chose to eat elsewhere as there are so many great bars and restaurants close by. The hotels location is nestled between several beechs and shops so it's a great hub for everyone. We found this hotel to be ideal for what we needed and can't wait to return next year.

this apartment complex is in the best location in teguise, we new the apartments were basic but clean and comfortable, the pool area, pool side bar/snack bar were always immaulate. these are very cheap apartments to stay in if you want 4star stay somewhere else but you'll not have the location. we will stay here again and recommend them to others.

Stayed in this hotel 21-28 February...Great location...Hotel could do with a bit of refurbishing but it is all only cosmetic...Fabulous views out to sea from the pool bar...Staff very friendly!!!
