Hot tub and WiFi. Riverwood Retreat is a secluded cabin that sits atop a 300 foot cliff overlooking a horseshoe bend in the New River with breathtaking long range views. Inside, the cabin comfortably accommodates four people with a King Bedroom and attached full bath and a Queen bedroom with an adjacent full bath. The cabin will allow for up to eight people total with a pull-out sofa bed and futon in the living area. The cabin has a large living area with a gas fireplace, full kitchen and washer and dryer. Wi-Fi, Cable TV, Blu-Ray/DVD player and Bluetooth Stereo are all provided. Outside, enjoy the large wrap around deck, listen to the river rapids from below and experience views from the hot tub that you will never forget. A gas and charcoal grill is provided along with propane and grilling utensils. Access to the New River allows for easy swimming, tubing, fishing and kayaking. Up above the cabin is a fire pit and firewood. You will feel a thousand miles away from it all but still only fifteen minutes from downtown West Jefferson with its welcoming small-town atmosphere, multiple shops, restaurants and bars, and multiple grocery stores nearby. Perfect for me and my wife for a long, relaxing weekend getaway in the mountains. Very clean and well maintained.I can’t stress this enough: The view is jaw droppingly stunning. Just gorgeous. Mountain views galore and a river below to boot. Just outstanding! A feast for the eyes!While there are a few homes in the distant view they are so far away you still feel completely secluded.Great communication with the owner on a few insignificant questions, e.g. is the grill charcoal or propane (it’s propane, thank goodness). The cottage is very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, Keurig, etc. I brought some extra things and never needed to use them. It’s obviously been updated in some critical areas like the bathrooms.Plenty of sitting room inside and out (very impressed with the set-up. I really can’t say enough about this place. Absolutely no complaints. Nothing else. An occasional car, some cleanup noise from the hurricane. The stay was good. The well head was frozen when we got there but got the water moving. The host was responsive and had a good attitude. I give 5 stars because the weather shouldn't give a bad mark to the owner or property. Clean environment, really cool view, and perfect for a husband and wife getaway. Not normally the luxury I'm used to, but this place was an enjoyable stay for the weekend. I would recommend this cabin to any couple looking to get away for a secluded relaxing stay. ##### Rob M.
