"Amazing villas, amazing food and wonderful staff"

"The resort is the only one of its kind in the main tourist area in Langkawi. It has multiple restaurants/ bars and 2 pools. The second pool had just been refurbished and was slick and modern, the larger pool area was more dated but was clean and really pleasant to cool off in. Food at breakfast was good and we enjoyed the lunch there too. The service was a solid 4 star but close to 5. "The hotel is nice and it has a superb sunrise. We had a premier sea view room and it was amazing to wake up and see that sunrise. Besides that though there is not much to do around and in the area dining options are limited. Cleanliness was ok but could be improved. Noise level was also hard to manage because there is a live band every night that we could hear from our room."

"Overall resort has a terrible stench, problem with their sewage treatment. The room is very run down and the hot shower in our room is not working. The mini fridge is missing in our room. After our complaint to the reception they only replace the fridge on the 2nd night. The only good thing about this resort is the location, nearby eatery places. The hotel name has changed to Airis Sanctuary Resort since July but no one informed us."
