« We loved this place. It was so quiet and there was so much to do despite it raining most of our stay. Our hike to the waterfall was lovely. There are beautiful fish in the lake. The kids loved the game room! Adults loved the hot tub! We would definitely stay again! »

« We were in town for a wedding at the Chestnut Inn. We needed a place that was close to the Inn because our 9 month old granddaughter was staying behind with her grandpa. That way her parents could get back to her quickly if needed. Also, other family members who hadn’t met her yet could come to the VRBO and hang out with us for the afternoon in a homey setting. « This place is all around AWESOME! From the house to the grounds, the view, the pond, all of it, awesome! The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed to have a nice little getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle. We had a blast playing air-hockey downstairs, really enjoyed fishing the nice little pond, caught some nice largemouth (catch and release, please!) and enjoyed hanging out in the evening around the firepit. « This property was amazing for our extended family stay. There was plenty of space to stretch out and do your own thing and then come together for meals. Kitchen was ample size to be able to cook for our large party. Paddle boards and kayaks were a great addition and lots of fish were caught. Would definitely recomment this for your extended families stay! »

« The lake is beautiful and provides activities, the goats are very cute, the house was clean and comfortable, with A/C, plenty of hot water and water pressure for showers, and space for our things. Just what we wanted for a family long weekend with 3 generations. The owners were very responsive. The deck is in desperate need of a coat of paint and some other maintenance though - hopefully the owners can do some upkeep on the outdoor space soon. »

« Family reunion, 25 people ages 4 to 78. Amazing stay! This reunion happens every year and we move from place to place. We checked out today and are ready to book Scott and Ann’s home for next year! This home was really well laid out for a big group. Very clean and comfortable beds for all! Multiple spaces to hang out in smaller groups or all together in the huge activity room, which we even set up a projector in for a movie night (it’s attached the house which was awesome but not evident to me...

« This property gave me and my 8 friends plenty of place for sleeping and living. The distance from the mountain was a perfect short drive and we really enjoyed our time up there. »
