"We had the luxury of being the only two guests mid week August. Nice for a B&B to have a room with two beds which we required. Delicious, hearty breakfast made by Marg, dietary restrictions nicely accommodated. Marg very friendly and informative. Got free bikes from Rushford Library to use on bike trail. On weekends, Peterson also has free bikes. Nice to relax on front porch too. Great place from which to explore area."
"We absolutely loved our stay at the Country School Guest House! Andrea and Sheldon were warm and welcoming! We truly enjoyed our visits in the yard. We loved hearing about the house and rescue animals. Kadi and Molly (the host’s rescue dogs) were happy to visit with us each morning and evening after our biking adventures! "We had a fantastic stay, really appreciated the proximity to all sorts of fun family activities - we did the Mystery Cave Scenic Tour, our own Amish country driving tour (courtesy of the host supplied map), biked a ton, went to the community pool, did a few of the "nine hole" fishing spots in Preston (stop by Curt's and/or Driftless Flying Fishing for tips), and went for a tube float down the Root River with Root River Outfitters. House was clean, well supplied and in a great location. Host was very responsive and helpful. Excellent family getaway!"
