"Fresh berries,cantaloupe, pineapple for breakfast. Fresh and delicious. All of the free breakfast was great. Heated pool, waterfall, firewood fire, not a little fake gas in gravel experience. Fireplace in lobby, books, great old 1940s music playing, very pleasant vibr all around. Wine from Biltmore House and flannel jamming on sale! Owner always remembers my name, a genuine, nice guy. All staff is great, the price is great and they are very dog friendly! I can't recommend it more, truly. Rooms have kitchens, clean, quiet. It is great!"

"The room we stayed in had a broken toilet that wouldn’t flush and lights that didn’t work. Next time, please have the room maintenanced before allowing guests in to ensure everything is operational, especially a toilet. Other than the initial man who checked us in —who wasn’t pleasant and who talked too low for us older folks to hear him—the rest of the desk workers (2 women) were wonderful, 1 yesterday and 1 today. The breakfast was very good but I’m unsure if we would stay here again."

"No microwave in the room. Toilet seat was broken. No instruction for the TV how to operate the remote to get the channels. Long wait for the elevator and only one elevator in use."

"We stayed here for 5 nights, visiting family in the area. The hotel location was great. Breakfast each morning was great. The staff was kind and welcoming. It was unfortunate that the pool was not ready for use. But the rooms were big and spacious for our family and they were able to provide a pack and play for our little one. We would definitely stay again. The manager and receptionist were attentive and kind!"
