While reception offered a bottle of wine as a "gesture of goodwill," the experience was further soured at the bar. A male staff member was incredibly rude to my partner, making a sarcastic and unprovoked remark that she had “obviously drank wine through a straw” before. This, combined with our room keys failing and needing to be reprogrammed multiple times, made for a stressful stay. A bottle of wine does not compensate for verbal harassment and staff insults.
