Although advertised as having A/C available, it is barely noticeable once the heat hits Geneva. The shower cabin is extremely tight and is growing mould in some areas. The doors to the shower permit water to run through, posing a safety hazard when you exit for newcomers, which explains why most of the towels provided were used to dry the floor and to prevent accidents instead of keeping them clean for us. The existing mini fridge doesn't keep anything cold. Additionally, there is no iron or ironing board, which is necessary for tourists. Although the hotel itself was underwhelming for the price, the staff (receptionist) was excellent and very helpful in regards to making our stay as comfortable as it could have been.

The rooms are large and well maintained. Everything works well. The only drawback is that after 11 pm there is nobody at the reception. So be careful as to not lose your rooms keys, otherwise all good!

The price was very very high for a small room. Especially when you come late night and leave early morning and the price paid is for 20 hours min (considering their check in and check out timings). Reception agreed to stay till I check in after 11pm - very happy with her for agreeing to this. Irrespective the cost is not at all in sync with the time. Breakfast did not have much options. Especially for Vegetarians.

I recommend this hotel.
The hotel is very nice, I really enjoyed staying here, for me it is the best hotel in Geneva in terms of the good price and the room I found it better than the pictures and the staff in the reception are very friendly. I asked them about the best tourist places here in Geneva and they answered me with all friendliness and gave me free transportation tickets valid for my stay.

A Nightmare On Crack
Was charged 4x the rate for what they insist was “pre-authorization” even though they deny even charging me in the first place. This locked my bank account. When I arrived I was told I never paid at all and needed to pay again so I was forced to pay by cash. The next day I book one night again with no other choice and they tried to charge me $300 for minibar food from the night before that I didn’t even consume. Mind you... there’s not even $300 worth of food in the minibar. They would not let me check in at all without payment for that. So I left. This was well beyond a nightmare. These people are completely incompetent and inconsiderate.

The staff is polite and helpful. seven minutes walk to train station. convenient location. clean. but no air-conditioning in winter. you have to open the window / ceiling to ground window door at balcony to maintain airflow. The worst part is the standing bathing area is super small, even for standing a tiny Asian woman the pillow is small

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. It was small but more than adequate for me. The location close to the train station and all of the museums and sites that I wanted to see was perfect. The breakfast was really good compared to other hotels that I’ve stayed at. The bed was heavenly and I had the most amazing sleep. There was no outside noise to be heard, although a little bit of inside noise like water in the pipes, but nothing dramatic. If you’re looking for a spacious room then this is not the place, but I just wanted a really comfortable bed in a clean accommodation close to all amenities, and it was perfect for that.

off to a bad start, but a good end
Checking in was a lowpoint (unfriendly, lecturing, and putting me in the wrong room), but more than made up by the nice gentleman at the reception later in the evening. All the rest (room, comfort, quiet, cleanliness) was perfect.

The place is overall fine, but the shower booth and the overall bathroom is very small. The shower felt extremely claustrophobic even though I’m around 160cms tall. Also the hotel should invest in nicer cleaning products which seem to give a not so pleasant smell, which makes the place feel a bit old.
