This Mansion in Lancaster, Ohio, holds a rich history tied to its original owners, Samuel and Sarah McCracken. Built in the late 19th century, this Victorian home reflects the architectural elegance of the era, characterized by intricate woodwork and ornate detailing. Samuel McCracken, a respected local businessman, and his wife, Sarah, played significant roles in the community, often hosting social events that brought together neighbors and friends. Their residence became a hub of activity, embodying the warmth and charm of Victorian hospitality. We had a wonderful stay celebrating New Year's at the mansion. Each bedroom was comfortable and the mansion itself is a feast for the eyes. Keep in mind that 2 of the full bathrooms are only accessible via bedrooms. Everyone had plenty of space and loved exploring every inch of this place. Highly recommend for a fun and special trip!
