Very friendly staff, clean hotel with nice amenities for this price point. I look for "clean" and "safe" in my hotels. If you are looking for luxury you might be disappointed. If you are looking for a clean, quiet place to stay with helpful, friendly staff while enjoying the nearby white mountains you will be pleased. Free breakfast was plentiful and the expected fare of powdered eggs, toast, muffins, waffles, cereals, yogurt, and fruit.

The area is beautiful! The breakfast was terrible though. and it was really odd to have a hotel without automatic doors so you have to fight with the doors when bringing your bags in and out. (I know it sounds like a petty thing, but it really jumped out to me when I was fighting with the luggage cart and door)

Was it convenient, yes. Dated orange interior, never once greeted by anyone at front desk. Blanket had blood stains on it. Bathroom sink was plugged and beds were hard. Pillows were so tiny! Breakfast buffet was terrible! We went out for breakfast. The “bacon” was paper thin, eggs were runny and seemed like they were powdered. Coffee came from some huge machine. Overall, very disappointed.

Awful night sleep
If staying on the first floor dont expect to get any sleep. The noise was absolutely awful coming from above us through all hours of the night very late. Beds are uncomfortable overall wasnt great.

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room with the pool. Breakfast almost not edible. The heater was running loudly the whole night with no change to change it.

The limited guest occupancy is a result of our prime location in the heart of the beautiful White Mountains and right now we are between leaf peppers season and ski season - it is too cold to go on hikes and not enough snow for skiing. Welcome to white mountains in November.

The pool is just lovely but was a little cool for me. Breakfast was very good, alot of choices, always replenished. Heating unit in room was very, very noisy so had to shut it off to be able to sleep.

Fantastic place to stay
My family and I recently stayed the weekend in Sugar Hill. This hotel was fantastic. Our room was so nice and cozy. Plus everything was so clean. You would never know any pets were ever there. We even had the pool all to ourselves. I would definitely stay here again.

Front desk people are nice. During my one night stay in Best Western White Mountain Inn I got multiple bug bites on my right side neck, right side forehead, right side arm and left hand. I brought this to the hotel’s attention, they responded that they didn’t find any bugs. Despite this, the fact still remains that I did receive multiple bites during my stay. These bites are red raised bumps, some of them contain clear fluid, they are itchy, hurting and very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel.

Hello Ying,As soon as you contacted us with this concern we contacted JP pest control to come and inspect the room in question. And we sent you the report stating there weren't any bed bug found in this room but you demanded full refund if not you would post bad review online. Further more there where 7 different guest stated in this room before your check in and two after your check out ( because you reported this incident two days after checking out of this hotel) All of this was explained to you over the phone when we talked but you still chose to post this review and here i am responding with facts we are not offering you any compensation.

I had planned to take a bath, but the bathtub had a brown stain all around the bottom. No housekeeping services. The beds were not made and trash wasn’t emptied. No newspapers available. They charge a lot for the rooms for what you get.

Staff was excellent. The hotel was old, poorly lit inside, rundown. Carpet had ridges and was not flat. Sheets were good and comfortable.

We can assure you that the room and everything inside have been cleaned and sanitized, but we will still make sure to have this reviewed with our cleaners.
