"The staff was so friendly, polite, professional. "
From the minute my daughter (aged 20) arrived on the Saturday, we were made to feel welcome and our custom valued. We were having a spa treatment here on the mothers day so I decided to make a weekend of it and booked us in for the weekend. Arrived just after 3pm, so easy to find the hotel as just 5 minutes from the motorway. The entrance to the grounds of the hotel gave us an idea of the environment we were about to spend our weekend, lovely. It was quite busy at reception when we checked in as there was a wedding party just having their photos taken outside at the front, I commented how lovely and special it would be to have a wedding and function here. The staff were all so friendly and it was clear the staff all seemed very happy to be working there. Our room was lovely as I expected,. After booking our evening meal, we went for a swim in the hotel pool. The lighting and atmosphere was so relaxing. The evening meal, beautiful, restaurant staff very professional and friendly. Booked and paid for breakfast when we had arrived, it was a refreshing change not having to rush around on the Sunday morning as breakfast is served until 11am. Didn't need to eat again till dinner when we arrived home. My daughter had a manicure at the spa I had a facial which relaxed me so much. This was the best mother''s day I have ever had with my lovely daughter. And this is how I will spend every mother day until she becomes a mother herself. I would like to add the WiFi was free..

"Lovely Old Building"
A very comfortable stay in an extremely interesting building. The staff were very attentive and we would stay again. The room was a good size and the bathroom was lively with a bath and shower. The stained glass window and reception rooms were very interesting and worth a second visit.

"Good place to break journey South-East to Scotland"
All good Breakfast a bit disappointing but we were late down so ... (Evening meal was excellent and that raised our hopes for an equally spectacular breakfast) Overall, a very good place to spend the night.

"Lovely apartments 10mins from blackpool centre."
Beautiful apartment. Great decor and excellent location. Only problem was parking as car park is used by random people who are not staying in the apartments and we received no parking permit other than that also the stannah apartment were we stayed had a leaking sink we reported this and nothing was done about it. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.

"Well worth a visit"
Birthday treat. Everything about booking and check in was first rate. Room disappointing. Dark, tiny and very dated, having said that it was clean enough and had everything it needed for a nights stay. The restaurant, food and staff could not be faulted. Plentiful, tasty, service with a smile and a good choice. The entertainment was good for one night, the hotel reserves you a table until eight thirty if you are a resident and we shared with a lovely couple. All in all would recommend this adults only hotel. Well placed with open views of the sea from the lovely restaurant area.

"small bathroom."
this hotel needs a bit of updating, we stayed in room 106 a double room with a sea view, the room was comfortable enough and the view lovely, but the bathroom was so small we had to walk in or out backwards ! we really struggled to use the loo, and as there wasn't room for a radiator it was freezing cold, there was no phone or hair dryer in the room, the food was excellent as was the swimming pool, the water was lovely and warm.the

"Nice hotel"
The hotel and staff were nice. The food was amazing. The service was second to none. My only gripe was our room was next to an external fan that left you feeling like you were sleeping on a runway for aeroplanes.
