Our stay was from Wed - Sunday and the weekdays were brilliantly quiet. The river running just behind the property, it’s a great backdrop to lounging and relaxing. It was a pleasure to sit with a cup of coffee and hear the birds and the sound of the rapids just down river. The adjacent properties filled up over the weekend but the community is very family filled and as a whole was still relaxing and quite quiet. This is a perfect cottage on the Mississippi River. Remote enough but just a short drive into Perth for anything you may need. The decor is modern and cozy, cottage itself is stunning and spacious. Great rental to relax and recharge. We went to nearby Baird trail for a walk with the dogs, and had a beautiful outdoor fire during the day. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need for wonderful meals.
