Adequate accomodations for our one night stay. Stayed on the third floor. Hotel was quiet. Room and grounds were clean. Breakfast was ok, but we've had better an similar places. Overall no bad, not outstanding. Good for what we needed.

Carolyn,Thank you for your stay and your review. Your husband dialed "911" accidentaly so we have to do our job to do safety check for your room. Your husband refused to open the door and he was so rude and cussing the front desk girl out. We never expected to have that type of behavior for his fault that he dialed 911. Please keep in mind that your safety is important to us, anything could happen in the room.

The hotel smelled funny, not like a regular chain. Its owned by forgein individuals. The air conditioner compressor howled all nite when it was on.

Hotel is nice, front desk attendant very friendly, pool clean. Elevator didn’t work so you had to climb stairs. That got old real quick. Stray cats around property was a little displeasing when trying to enjoy the outside amenities. Rooms where comfortable and they serve a hot breakfast. Eggs meat potatoes biscuits and gravy. Cold cereal, juices and typical waffles. I would stay again.

Wonderful Staff, Best Shower!!
This was by far the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in. The room was exceptional clean, beds comfortable and the best shower I’ve ever had in a hotel. Staff was especially friendly, helpful & accommodating. I seem to always miss breakfast but the staff gave us a cup of coffee & 2 bananas for the road. Thank you to all… 😃

Great place to stay
Our stay was great. Good location, clean and safe hotel. Comfortable beds and great pillows. Friendly staff and decent breakfast choices. My only suggestion would be have the pool cleaned and some towels had stains but that’s minor. We loved Lampasas with great restaurants and friendly people even though our team was the rival, everyone we encountered were friendly and accommodating.

the bed was uncomfortable for my spouse but fine for me. I found the front desk people very nice and helpful. The noise in the hotel was found and the laundry shoot was next to our room and I could hear the washer going through the cycles. Finally I turned the fan on and finally had to turn the fan on so it would drown out the noise.

We hardly spent time there because we were visiting family all day, but we will not go back here again. Very strange environment. Pros: fairly clean, decent breakfast. Cons: the exercise machines are broken (wish I could post my pictures of all the buttons broken off) so the facilities are unusable. And worse: there must be cameras all over the hotel because the staff was constantly in our business. On the first morning my kids were watching tv as I was getting ready to go, and the service came and brought towels so opened and shut the door. As we were leaving I got a call from the front desk - they said we had a noise complaint from the room below us, which was surprising because of us just watching tv but then I thought maybe the door opening and shutting made noise (are the floors really that thin?)…my kids held the elevator door for me since I was on the phone and they didn’t know where I was. When I came down to the front desk I told the gal how surprised I was about the call and if she was sure it was for us - and she said it most certainly was because we have kids and she just saw them holding the elevator door “for 10 minutes which is unacceptable so they must be rowdy kids”. First - that’s impossible since it was about a 30 second phone call, and 2nd - are they watching everyone on cameras at every moment? I wish I had enough room to write everything, but of the about 6 waking hours we spent there they indicated three different times they were watching us. Creepy!

Chelsea,During your stay, other guests complained about your children being noisy. We do have cameras for everyone's safety and the majority of the hotels have cameras in the building so the staff can see the activity in the building. It's for everyone's safety. There is nothing wrong about mentioning to you about other guests complained about your children running around and holding the elevator. Our fitness rooms have everything working. The bicycle works after you paddle and treadmill you just had to insert the safety key that was hanging on the machine. You were supposed to be 1 adult and 3 children but we get to find out that on 2nd day you had 2 adults and 4 children and room occupancy is supposed to be only 4 people. Also, you invited other children from outside to swim, pool is for the registered guests only not for your visitors. Next time please look for your lodging needs elsewhere.

Didn't like the fact that my grandkids couldn't use the pool , that's one of the reasons why I picked the place. And didn't like how they or my wife was spoken to about the pool.

Gym, pool, and AM breakfast was good. Our TV initially didn't work, but after a 15 minute reboot to the directv receiver it started up. It was just an annoyance. (That and the manager or owner thinking our kids in the car were dogs we were trying to sneak in.)
