There are two decks, a fire pit, a grill and patio furniture for your enjoyment along with 2 stocked fishing ponds just steps from your door. And is located just 400 feet from the Blacklog Corner Cottage (listing 1162493) and The Pond Pavillion INN (listing 2769008) if you have a larger group and need more lodging. There is ample parking for many vehicles, boats and trailers. There are also outdoor plug-ins for boats. There is a full eat-in kitchen with all the pots, pans, dishes and utensils you will need. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator so you can stock up on food and beverages. There is a stand-up shower in the bathroom and a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. The "POND SHORE LODGE" has two bedrooms with a queen bed in each room. This beautiful rental is located just 5 miles from Lake Shelbyville. There is a 2 day minimum stay and 10 day maximum stay. The only thing is that we never had time to go fishing. There are two ponds in this lovely verdant place. The decks are great place to hang out as well. So this is why we must come back! It’s out in the country, which is what we wanted. The minute we drove in the driveway, there was a sense of being home. The home itself is so charming and warm, spotless with comfortable beds and beautifully decorated. There was plenty of sitting room for the whole family and the two roll away beds really came in handy. For warmer weather, there is a fire pit out back and lawn chairs or you can just sit on the deck, sip your tea and keep an eye on the bbq grill. There is plenty of room for the kiddos to run and play and even a pond for fishing! The only thing to keep it from being perfect was no recliner but Vicky said she planned to get some foot stools. Problem solved! Perfection! We were late arriving and the weather was bad, so Vicky called me to make sure we were ok. She is so considerate and helpful!
