Only a short walk to Wheeler Lake public beach and the public boat launch only .5 miles away. Head into town to pursue quaint shops, wineries, ice cream shoppes and restaurants, or venture out further for exciting outdoor recreation. This cabin is close to town but still has a country feel. The house is across the street from the lake, but has a trail you can walk, and a fire pit outside we never got to use. This cabin is perfect for families, groups of friends or even a couple’s getaway. It has everything you need for a fun & relaxing vacation away from the hustle & bustle. Ample parking, a fully stocked kitchen, smart TVs, strong WiFi, AC, large fire pit with seating for 6, a bbq grill and more! The surrounding grounds is a picturesque backwoods that puts you in a relaxed headspace when you arrive. It’s a quick walk to the beach as well. On top of it all, the owner is super responsive! The access to the beach is about a half-mile walk from the house, but we arent beach people, so not a big deal. The best part was the woods on the property. We got great response when we needed some firewood, it was delivered in record time. The place was so sweet and perfect for 3 adults and 4 children, the bunk beds were a hit. The kids didn't want to leave and kept calling this a perfect vacation, (even with the rain)! The Kitchen was fully stocked with any gadget we could possibly need. The pictures we're a bit deceiving however, the impression I had when I booked, was the lake was right across the street, it is however about a 1/4 mile down the road.That's okay though, we still had a great time and loved the property.
