"Beautiful home and property. Enough room for multiple families to stay under one roof. Plenty of dry firewood is available for the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. The large property was nice and private and the trails were nice if anyone wanted to get some walking in. We stayed in the winter so didn't use the beach but we saw how the private beach would be a lot of fun for families with younger kids."

"My husband I and our dog had a wonderful weekend. It was very clean and had everything we needed. They even thought to have coloring books, crayons, crossword puzzles and other items for crafts. It was secluded because it's tucked away (which is exactly what we wanted) but close to the town in case you need anything. We'll be back again!"

"The property is on Wheeler Lake, which is a great lake for fishing and watersports. There's a sandy public beach nearby that you can visit for $5 per person, and the boat launch is fairly close. Lakewood is five minutes away. The cottage is older, but has been nicely remodeled with two newer bathrooms, a modern kitchen and numerous other updates.
