Our Mountain Chalet is the perfect place for you to relax with your family and enjoy making memories at the lake. Fill your days with fun-in-the-sun activities like fishing, tubing, swimming, boating, jet skiing and just plain relaxing! Spend the day on the lake then come home to BBQ on the large lake view deck. Or just keep swimming and drop anchor at one of the many lakeside restaurants. There's always room to park at their docks! THE SPACE This beautiful lakeside chalet has a 3rd floor loft area with two queen size beds and a fully remodeled bathroom. The main floor holds two bedrooms, one with a queen, one with 2 sets of bunk beds. You'll also find an open living room, dining room, and newly remodeled kitchen with lakeview sight lines throughout, and another bathroom as well. This spacious room allows wonderful views of the lake everywhere you look! Lake Wallenpaupack's signature sunrises will never fail to take your breath away! Our lower level has another bedroom with 2 single beds and a queen, a bathroom, laundry room, bar area, and great room with enough sectional seating for the whole group. Can't forget the game room! Put your table tennis skills to the test on our ping-pong table! Outside the home you'll discover a spacious deck overlooking the sparkling lake. What beach day would be complete without a BBQ or a fire pit for roasting the perfect s'mores? You'll find it all here waiting for you in this rustic chalet! Through the lower level's outdoor access, you'll find a comfy hammock for ultimate relaxation or sit in the hot tub while watching the sun rise. Trekking to the lake is an easy few steps down our stone walkway leading straight to the edge of Wallenpaupack's lapping shoreline. PARKING is available for up to 6 cars including boat trailers. 5 DAY GUESTS are allowed and strictly enforced. This will make a total of 15 guests during the day (if you have 10 guests staying overnight). All guests including day guests will need to be listed on the Reservation Form when completed. GUEST ACCESS Access to the property is contactless by keypad. Our Digital Welcome Guide is a complete guide to your arrival, stay and departure for your rental home. The Welcome Guide is sent when the required forms and information is received. Guests have access to the whole house. Locked closets/areas are as follows: linen closet in main floor bathroom, one closet in loft bedroom and one closet on the lower level. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - BOOKING REQUIREMENTS 75% of guests need to be 30 or older with an exception for children traveling with their parents. The remaining 25%, will need to be 25 and over. This home is for families and respectful guests, it is not a party property. All bookings are required to sign a short-term lease after the booking has been accepted to satisfy community requirements. WHO WE ARE This property is managed by a local real estate agent. Property Owners rely on our team to book and manage their home for you and to make sure your rental needs are met. To make sure each property is well maintained, each reservation will require a rental agreement to be signed. The Rental Agreement is posted on this site and is available for review at check out. In addition to the Rental Agreement posted on VRBO, you will receive a Reservation Form that is required to be completed within 48 hours of receipt. Our communities are also governed by township Rental Ordinances which impose certain rules and regulations for owners. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Our rental management includes 24-hour emergency response for any issues that arise. LAKE INFO Swimming/Floating Welcome Rocky Shoreline access – lake level fluctuates depending on the season. Spring – Lake levels will be high. The docks do not start getting installed until late April. We do not GUARANTEE any dock in the water before Memorial Day. Summer – High Water Mark is June 1st. Depending on the weather, the lake levels may come up higher than that making the docks hard to access as their walkways will be underwater. We do our best to make sure they are accessible, but we cannot always get to them on demand. Fall – Water levels will be lowest, and docks will start to be removed from the lake until the spring. Boats can still be docked, water levels at the end of the docks are still acceptable for boat docking. Winter – Lake usually freezes, and ice fishing is popular. Any access to the frozen lake is “at your own risk”. HOUSE RULES No Smoking inside – smoking outside only. Must not leave any butts and ashes behind NO FIREWORKS or discharging of any firearm is not permitted. Includes BB, air, pellet, paint guns. Quiet time 11pm – 8am – this is a family-oriented neighborhood, no late-night parties allowed. Voices carry at night when it’s quiet. If you are out late at the firepit or on the deck, please keep noise to a minimum. Beachgoers can swim in this lake’s tranquil waters from the park’s access points while enjoying the sun on its sandy shores. Lifeguards on duty, snack bar, volleyball, picnic tables, charcoal grills, and bathroom/changing facilities. The downstairs fridge was very nice to have though the downstairs needs an upgrade, and we cannot give 5 stars for that reason. Weather looked dicey, but we got lucky and were able to enjoy all that the lake had to offer! The kayaks were wonderful, and in terrific condition. Even when there was a bit of rain, everyone decided to stay at the house, rather than heading out to do an indoor activity…we felt at home and there was plenty to do! Check in was easy, the house was nice and roomy, kitchen was nicely updated and well stocked with supplies needed. Ice maker did not work and water leaked from the fridge/freezer onto the floor daily. Was disappointed that a repair person could not come the entire week. The basement was very damp and we found it uncomfortable to sleep in that bedroom, and there was no working dehumidifier. Loved the location--the area was nice to walk daily, the dock was easy to get to and use for our boat and putting the kayaks in was easy as well, and it was nice to have two kayaks available to used, the hot tub was good too. ##### Beth K.
