Inside was visually pleasing with all of the decor and felt very homey. Beautiful property with some wildlife including squirrels, birds and we even saw a buck. The hosts were very attentive and made sure we had everything and that we were happy with the accommodations. This is definitely a cozy cabin, don't expect a big, shiny house with all the amenities of a resort. Instead, be prepared for limited space, tiny bedrooms, and washing dishes by hand. Then, enjoy the back deck, under the umbrella, watching the woodpeckers in the pines, and the deer wandering through the yard. For me, it was the perfect place to get away from the busyness (and heat) of Phoenix. Our only complaint was that the White Mountain Highway is just about 100 yards through the pines and we could hear the busy traffic all day and late into the evenings.
