Cozy A-Frame w/Spa+14 acres+EV+Trails+Lake Access
Looking to create a âLifetime Memory?â
Welcome to Treetop Lodgeâa renovated two-level A-frame on 14 private acres. Nestled in the hills of Lakeside, it feels secluded but is just minutes from town. Hike private forest trails that end at at the lake, soak in the Jacuzzi under the stars, toast marshmallows by the firepit, or curl up in the cozy loft for the ultimate movie night.
Whether you`re chasing adventure or seeking calm, the experience is yours to create.
Accessible via a well-maintained dirt road, Treetop Lodge offers complete seclusion without sacrificing convenience. Enjoy crystal-clear cell service, high-speed Wi-Fi, and dedicated computer access. Each room features a Samsung Smart TV equipped with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YoutubeTV for premium entertainment.
Guests can access the hiking trails, firepit and Jacuzzi.
We are not located on the property, but our awesome property manager Vicki lives right up the road. You will have complete privacy, and she lives very close to being able to handle any questions, concerns or help you may need.
Located up the mountain and close to the downtown city of Lakeside where there is a grocery store, restaurants, and a local hardware store. Short two mile jaunt to the lake and the nearest marina. Situated on the hilltop in the trees overlooking Tenmile Lake and the city of Lakeside.
There is plenty of on-site parking for vehicles, ATV`s, UTV`s etc.
Loft Access Access to the loft is via a narrow, vertical ladderâcharming but steep! For some, it may be a bit tricky, so please keep that in mind before booking. We ask that you use caution and supervise young children at all times when they`re in the loft. Also, if you`re traveling with large dogs, itâs unlikely theyâll be able to climb up and down. Some guests appreciate the separation (lol), others not so muchâso just a heads-up!
Hot Tub The hot tub will be pre-heated before your arrival. The key for the safety locks on the cover is located on the front door key ring.
Fire Pits & Firewood Youâll have your own private fire pitâjust donât forget to bring firewood! If you forget or canât pick any up, there are several local spots in town where firewood is usually available.
Hiking Trails to the Lake Youâll have full access to the entire propertyâ14 acres of private forest trails, shared only with one other rental just beyond yours. The trails are marked with signage, but please note: the hill leading down to the lake can be a bit challenging depending on your mobility and hiking experience. If you`re up for it, it`s a brisk and invigorating 10-minute hike that rewards you with access to our secluded, private lakefront.
Our Philosophy Our goal is to make Treetop Lodge feel like your âhome away from home.â Inspired by what weâve appreciated in our own travels, we never charge extra for additional guests (up to the max of 6).

Weâre proudly pet-friendly! There is a one time pet fee of $50 that allows for up to two pets. We simply ask that you vacuum any excessive pet hair and promptly clean up after your furry friends.
Absolutely no parties are allowed. Unauthorized parties, smoking, loud disturbances, or disruptive gatherings will result in a $500 fee and may involve local authorities. We take the peace and safety of our property and neighbors seriously.
Very quick, helpful and friendly communication from the host! The house is set up so cute with everything we needed for the stay. Everything functioned well and itâs perfectly equipped for a family stay!
Unique property. Definitely not for children or disabled. We couldnât make it to the lake because the trail was too difficult. There were also many other people there, so no privacy as promised. One bed was dirty with unclean sheets. My first VRBO disappointment.
The accomodations were wonderful, exactly as described. It was hard to bring our small dog up to the second level, but it was great otherwise. Lovely location and comfortable and clean accomodations.
Fantastic property - this was my kids' (15 & 12) absolute favorite place we stayed over the course of a three week trip. So many thoughtful touches to make the house more comfortable and convenient. Loved having a loft to hang out in and the kids had fun using the pulley system. :) Perfect location to access local activities, quiet, peaceful, beautiful . . . jacuzzi is small but a lovely touch at the end of a long day exploring. Maybe some clearer instructions about using the cooktop (we weren't familiar with an induction unit) but overall zero complaints and we look forward to staying again someday! Note that the loft area will not be accessible to anyone with mobility issues but we thought it was fun and it was the perfect hangout for our kids.
For a one night stay it felt amazing to be with friends in a beautiful place with a hot tub and a fireplace and beautiful scenery around us 100% coming back to this Beautiful home!
To say this stay was in a beautiful location is an understatement! This was stop number two of our week long Oregon journey, and I wish we had been able to stay longer. I loved how secluded this location is, it was an amazing escape into the forest. An early morning hike to the lake was a great way to start our day. The cabin is well stocked with all necessities. The hot tub was perfect and great for stargazing. I highly recommend staying here for as long as you can!
We have only positive things to say about our recent stay at the Treetop Lodge. The accommodations were wonderful and included a fire pit, barbecue grill and outdoor jacuzzi. Everything was well thought out and aesthetically pleasing. We could relax and enjoy family time, go for a hike to the lake or roast marshmallows by the fire. I highly recommend this VRBO.
This is a perfect spot to stay for your âget away from it all for a few daysâ retreat. I went alone and had a blast. Youâre nestled into the forest, just far away from the towns enough to feel isolated while being close enough to get to Safeway in 25 minutes. Perfect launch point for a southwest coast trip. I got to experience a storm in the forest with 40 mile per hour wind gusts which is fun and makes you feel tiny! Modern appliances, modern furniture but cozy. Itâs like Glamping with all the perfection of a nice home while having the coziness of a cabin.
Iâd recommend an SUV or 4WD to get in, especially in the rain. Also be aware that youâll need to climb a vertical ladder if you want to go upstairs which is 100% awesome. There is a dumbwaiter which is cool lol. The hosts are perfect and extremely engaged. Overall a 5/5. Perfect stay and will be back.
The driveway in was an adventure. The house was beautiful. We could not enjoy the upstairs due to lack of access. The straight up ladder was not appropriate for seniors. The trail to the lake was also too difficult. Very dog friendly.
As soon as we arrived we loved this pretty and quirky retreat. Our young daughters enjoyed exploring the garden (although there was some dog poo on the lawn, which accounts for the loss of one star from the cleanliness rating), and the trails, and Uncle Michael is friendly and kind.
Inside, the property is cosy and fun, with everything you need for a stay at any time of year. You only need to bring food suppliesâŠ
We enjoyed family film night on the snuggly sofa upstairs, hot tub dips, star gazing and roasting marshmallows round the firepit. There is a nice viewpoint with red chairs in the garden, which is the perfect place to spot eagles soaring. We donât have eagles like this where we live, so that was a treat.
Itâs a perfect base for exploring parts of the Oregon coast, including the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport, dramatic trails and cliffs near Cape Perpetua, the cute foodie town of Florence (try Nosh and River Roasters for great food and drink indulgences), C&M stables for horseback riding in the dunes and on the beach, Jessie M Honeyman state memorial park, numerous beaches (we visited Horsfall), and a drive up the Umpqua River Valley to Eugene (where you can enjoy yummy fish and chips at Newmans and craft beer at The Bier Stein) is gorgeous on a sunny dayâŠ
We hope to be back in the US (and Oregon) one day, and would definitely love to stay here again.
Highly recommended for families, but it would also be a magical honeymoon spot!
Thank you Tim (and Uncle Michael).
