We are only 50 miles from Glacier National Park, but there is plenty of exploring, hiking, kayaking, dining, skiing and MORE to be done! There is plenty to do during your stay and lots to explore around Lakeside, Montana! Whether you’re looking for scenery, adventure, or relaxation, you’ll be able to find it all within a short distance to your cabin. Some of our favorite places to recommend include… • Glacier National Park: You must have an Entry Reservation Ticket to enter the park. You can get them www.recreation.gov • Volunteer Park (minutes away!); Wonderful place to have a picnic and spend the day at the beach. Flathead Lake access, swim docks, boat dock, canoe & bicycle racks and restrooms. • National Bison Range, 73 miles away in Charlo, MT; The National Bison Range is a nature reserve on the Flathead Indian Reservation in western Montana established as a wildlife conservation area for the American Bison • Blacktail Mountain Ski Area; Boasting an incredible view overlooking the Flathead Valley, this local ski area is open for downhill skiing and snowboarding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing.
