Sipping coffee on the front porch watching the sunrise with all the swans and ducks was a highlight. The house was amply stocked and perfect for our family. There was even a little Christmas tree decorated in the living room. We loved the different sitting areas. We were walking distance to downtown historic Lakeland, and a very short drive to Southeastern University for graduation festivities. The house is also a short drive to Florida Southern University. Our family drove from different parts of FL so there was plenty of driveway and free street parking. You are walking distance to restaurants, coffee shop and an ice cream shop. Be aware that the third bedroom is a twin with a trundle only accessible through the master which was fine for us. Also, the bathrooms are only accessible through the bedrooms which was fine for a family. We have spent the last four years visiting and staying all over Lakeland as our oldest son has attended Florida Southern College. We love staying at different houses in the area and this has been our favorite. The funky decor, the view, and location are perfect. We could easily walk to the downtown area or over to the campus and to Lake Hollingsworth.Our son has now graduated but when we are back in the area this will be the first place we look to see if it is available. ##### Michelle P. It’s clean and very comfortable. Sitting outside on the lovely patio looking over the lake and the beautiful swans was a bonus! Communication was very easy with the property manager.
