We are steps from picturesque Bluegill Lake, a private lake with 21 acres of crystal-clear water surrounded by towering trees. Kayaks, paddleboat and swimming raft included. Fish for bass and bluegill right from the dock! Escape the city but still be close to many restaurants, bars, shops etc. Less than a mile from Bass Lake boat launch and less than 7 miles from Lake Tomahawk boat launch on the Chain of Lakes. This well loved and maintained cabin is the prefect space for families or couples to enjoy all the Northwoods has to offer. We have made many updates including a brand new composite deck, new flooring, updated bathroom, new appliances and new furniture. Enjoy the spacious back yard with a gentle slope to the lake where you'll find a private pier, paddle boat, kayaks and a swimming raft. A gas grill, fully stocked kitchen and gas range/stove make it easy to cook at home and enjoy a meal on the deck under the stars. If you would rather go out we are less than six miles from Lake Tomahawk, 12 miles from Saint Germain, 15 miles from Minocqua and 20 miles from Rhinelander. Cabin is 760 square feet total. The communication with the owner is very good and the check in process / check out is very easy. Area is beautiful - the lake is very quiet, and the view is beautiful. Location is great as we went to Boulder Junction, Minocqua, Woodruff, Eagle River, Rhinelander and Manitowish Waters - all within 30 minutes.The cottage is small but very comfortable - very clean. Good storage for clothes in the bedroom. Kitchen seems to be well-stocked, but I do not cook much while on vacation! They do supply a lot of the basics (we always bring our own but there was a good supply at the house) of napkins, Kleenex, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.The outside is very welcoming. The deck is wonderful and there is a yard swing, benches and a nice fire pit. Outside area is well groomed. The walk down to the lake with small beach area is easy. We saw deer, heard owls at night and one night we were serenaded by coyotes ! There are a few "quirks" that the owner makes you aware of with using outlets and circuit breaker but we had no issues at all and used laptops, phones, hair dryers, etc. Wifi is good, can be a bit slow at times but overall it was good. Cabin was very clean and fully stocked with anything one could possibly need. Host (Jana) was wonderful and very responsive. Fishing was very good even right off the pier. Kids loved the paddleboat and kayaks along with all the wildlife on the lake. This cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. The host was super responsive and really nice. The cabin has a great view of the little lake from the deck. We went out several times on the paddle boat and did really well catching lots of pretty good size blue gills and even landed a small northern as well as a few medium size Large mouth, which was a pleasant surprise for such a small lake.
